I'd like to offer my services as a computer tech support "guru"

I realize that the average level of tech-savvy here is pretty high (it may, in fact, be over my head) But perhaps you have friends/relatives whom constantly call you asking for help with one thing or another. Or, who knows, maybe you have a problem I can solve.

Payment would be based on satisfaction: Don't like or didn't get a solution, I don't get paid. Got a solution but didn't like how long it took, pay me crap. Extremely happy, shower me with BTC. Up to you.

I've got plenty of hardware experience, and I'm familiar with all versions of windows up to 7, somewhat limited linux experience, but I can help you get it installed and hash out any problems with it. My girlfriend even runs linux now, so that should tell you at least something. Wink

So, Good idea? Bad idea? Am I insane?

trust?

Not entirely sure what you're asking, here...

But I'll take a stab at answering what I think you're asking:

Trust doesn't need to enter into the equation, except as a matter of reputation. Until the Bitcoin reputation system is more robust, this thread will have to suffice. I don't need access to your files, I don't need identifying information, and I don't need meet you in person or even talk to you on the phone. You ask me a question, in whatever means you feel secure in: email, PM, IM, etc, and if the answer I give resolves the problem, throw some bitcoins at the address below. If you think I was really helpful or just want to make extra sure that I keep doing this, throw more. Then, post a response to this thread with a review, letting the world know how well (or shittily) I answered your question.

Is that what you wanted to know?
