Neo is the competitor of ethereum , in 2017 we saw many ICOs were launched on ethereum network with erc tokens , in this year we saw some ICOs on NEO platform . however Ethereum is still best in its category , NEO needs a lot of work to do to achieve more popularity and better smart contracts . buying 300 Neo coins is a good idea at $35 but make sure bitcoin should be largest holding coin in your portfolio .

Price of NEO is very down now , so it is the best time to buy NEO for 1-2 years and i believe it will be above $300 in that period , so x10 gain for you . however if you are investing all the money only in NEO then better to diversify it to keep the balance in your portfolio .

I agree with you that it's a perfect time to buy NEO for long term, but I'm not sure about the 300$ price in 1-2 year. As we can see new perspective projects are releasing and it will be not easy for NEO to grow in price 8-10 times.

It seems to me that it is very risky to buy some coins for a long-term outlook for 2-3 years. In any case, everyone understands that the current state of things on the crypto-currency market does not bode well in the near future.

2 - 3 years is not so long, I think it worth to hold some good altcoins like ETH, NEO. Put 25% of your saving money on them, and you won't have to worry too much.

Yes, please buy into NEO, all buy into NEO . I got NEO at a much higher price, never regretting my choice and buying to several NEO projects since. I'm pretty invested in Effect.AI, AsuraCoin, ONT, APEX and a few more. Soon the main sale for spotcoin starts, hope I can get into that project too. Missed out on the NEX ICO (didn't 'win' the lottery twice), so spotcoin seems like a nice NEO alternative . Another NEO based project I found out is Veris, trying to tackle rising hospital costs.
