You could always read the forums and discover they didn't ban anything but, actually no you go ahead and sell off those coin. Tongue

They're trying to buy all the coins.
We must not let them.

I think even considering investing *all* your money in anything disqualifies you from any serious discussion.

First rule is to never sell the majority of your bitcoins unless you can retire off it.

Bitcoin is alot like stocks. When bad news comes out, the price drops and then a bunch of people buy at the dip to get cheapies. Also, do we really care if banks use bitcoin? Isn't one of the main points to avoid banks? Truly bad news would be a gov banning it's people to have them. So this is kind of minor news.

Crash to 0? What you said was incorrect but even it was, it won't crash to zero. Have a big effect? Perhaps. Zero? Doubtful. Not from this anyway.

I don't understand why there are so many bulls
This is bad news for bitcoin. Why not lock in some profits now and just buy back at break even or slight loss? Overall this is not good news and will make a lot of Chinese ppl to sell.

I dont think. Chinese buy Bitcoins to be able to withdraw wealth from China easily I believe. Remember, it is not mainstream there, only very small part of the population bought Bitcoins

Read between the lines, china didn't ban it. They regulated it, which means they legitimised it.

Financial news is just the btc-e troll box IRL. People post whatever they think will best help their own personal goals. So when china legitimises BTC, then the press are gonna spin it as negatively as possible to try and acquire bitcoin as cheap as they can from all the people that buy and sell based on the headlines.

Then they will make a killing when reality unfolds.

tl;dr : hold for the longest time!

"A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution" - Satoshi Nakamoto
