Congratulations to all of our subscribers as we went 3 for 3 last night!

Last night's pick was NCAA Wisconsin (+3.5) at Virginia which paid out nicely at 1.943.  Wisconsin easily covered winning the game 48 - 38!

Great sports betting action coming up tonight. Looking at 6 potential picks covering NCAAB, NCAAF and NFL!

Good luck to everyone!

Many might not know that over betting is the biggest hurdle to being profitable.  The thrill of the unknown often leads to quasi addictive wagering.

At abitbetter247, we analyze each and every possible wager for the day and we safely and securely provide our subscribers with a single betting line per day that represents what we believe to be our subscribers' best opportunity for profit.

Who are we?

Follow us at @abitbetter247 on Twitter and find out!

As always, best of luck to everyone!

We have received a few questions from subscribers and potential subscribers alike so we thought that this might be the appropriate forum to fully set out our services and the process we follow.

Firstly, each and every day we are constantly reviewing all betting lines trying to select the very few opportunities that pique our interest.  We carefully review all potential opportunities and weigh them against our very specific criteria.  Very few opportunities make our short list.  From that short list, we then go on to conduct still further analysis before ultimately selecting our pick of the day.  As an example, yesterday there were 3 picks that made our short list.  We wagered on all 3 picks and as luck would have it, all 3 picks happened to pay out.  However, our wagers were very small and they were made for a variety of reasons.  Sometimes we like to test different sport books, sometimes we like to explore different strategies but ultimately we feel that we need to place some form of wager on our picks in order to validate our selections.  That being said, our business model is that of a service provider whose sole purpose is to improve our subscriber's odds of succeeding at sports betting over the long term.

What do our subscriber's receive?  In order to subscribe to our daily pick, all you have to do is forward 0.001 BTC to our secure bitcoin wallet address at 1FeQnTYFqsqMPv18StzGQMRJTjT1cC37J4.  Immediately thereafter, send us an email at abitbetter247@gmail.com with the bitcoin address that you used to subscribe to the daily pick.  Upon receipt of your email and upon confirmation of your payment, we then immediately reply to your email and provide you with our daily pick.  You receive the pick in a safe, secure and timely manner.  You are then free to determine how best to make use of the information that you have received.

We have received questions asking us why can we not provide our subscriber's with all of our daily picks.  We can, and we are always happy to do so at no additional cost whatsoever to our subscribers, yet we are reluctant to do so.  We believe that our services are best provided by eliminating the guess work for you and by drawing your focused attention on one singular pick, which pick represents, in our opinion, our subscriber's best opportunity at achieving lasting long term profitability one day at a time. However, should a subscriber wish to receive all of the picks that met our short list for the day, please indicate so in your email and we will happily include all of our picks in our prompt response to you.

As always, you may contact us with any of your questions at abitbetter247@gmail.com.  And for those of you who may be inclined to do so, we would certainly appreciate being followed on Twitter at @abitbetter247.

Again, best of luck to our subscribers and to all sports betters out there!

You should require subscribers to sign a message using the address they paid with, or use a different payment address for each subscriber.

Otherwise, someone could potentially sit and wait until your address gets a payment, and send you an email saying they sent it.

Thank you for your comment.

So far, we have asked subscribers to include in their email the wallet address from which they sent their payment.  For security purposes, some subscribers have chosen to provide us with the first few letters/numbers and the last few letters/numbers of their address as a means to identify or authenticate their payment.  Truthfully, we have not as yet been inundated with so many subscribers that would make it difficult for us to confirm the origin of the payment or the identity of the subscriber.  The inclusion of a message with the payment might be helpful and something that we will consider implementing for sure.

Thanks again for your interest.

While it has not been a problem so far, I totally see your point.  So what is the best solution?  We certainly don't want to expose our subscribers in any way.  Their loyalty to us and our guarantee of the security of their transactions is integral to our success   Your input is greatly appreciated and respected.

Today's pick was NCAAB Ole Miss (+3) at Kansas State with a potential pay out of 1.724. KState won the game 61-58 which for us was a push.  The line moved from +3.5 to +3 for us by the time we placed our bet but hopefully some of our subscribers got the better line and the win.

All in all we managed a small gain as we placed 4 bets going 2-1-1 on the night. Ironically, the 2 bets that we chose not to take we're in.

We're already working on tomorrow's lines and we look forward to a great day for all of our subscribers!

If you guys want to keep proper records I would honestly suggest that you set up a units system to keep track of how many units your up/down? As a side note do you suggest to bettors that they should flat bet each game or have differing wager sizes?

Both great points that warrant proper thoughtful responses.

Firstly, in respect of implementing a units system we do have a proven track record that is based on a units system.  Secondly, our background is in trading financial markets for over 25 years so as you can well imagine we have tried and ultimately discarded more systems than we could ever mention here that range from the most conservative to the most aggressive Martingale systems imaginable.  The true test of the worth or value of any system is in understanding how it withstands the test of time over many years so as to ride out euphoric gains and devastating bubbles, corrections or crashes in financial markets or the hottest and coldest of winning streaks in sports wagering.  That being said, we recommend flat betting each and every one of our single daily picks and subscribers would be wise in attributing between 1% and 2% of their available capital to each such bet and no bets per day should ever total more than 5% of your available capital regardless of who you might be following or relying upon for guidance.  While we recommend only one pick per day, we do sometimes find a few picks that meet our initial criteria in which case we must scrutinize these picks further in order to ultimately retain only the very best pick.  In such instances, we do wager on each and every one of those picks each and every day for previously discussed reasons so you can well understand how the size of such wagers would be extremely conservative in respect of our overall available capital.

Lastly, to briefly touch upon our units system, yesterday's daily pick was likely a push for most subscribers depending on which sports book you may have utilized such that you would be flat on the day (1 unit out and 1 unit returned = net 0).  For those who may have gotten yesterday's pick in the win column based on the +3.5 line you would be up on the day (1 unit out and 1.724 units returned = net +0.724 units).

We will definitely start posting our net units won/lost and you can always choose to follow us on Twitter at @abitbetter247 where we will also start making such information available.  We will likely only go back to the start of this month as these statistics are more readily available for potential subscribers to scrutinize whereas historical data (which we do record meticulously) is apt to be considered less reliable by the skeptical general public.

Again, thank you for your comment and we hope that we have satisfactorily addressed your comments albeit in this shortened and abbreviated response.

Best of luck to everyone for today!

As requested, here are our numbers for all wagers over the first 5 days of December:

Units Wagered = 14.000
Units Returned = 18.910
Net Betting Units Won = +4.910
Net Winning Percentage (10-3-1) = 71%
Net Return on Investment = +35%

And here are the numbers for our subscribers' pick of the day over those same 5 days of December:

Units Wagered = 5.000
Units Returned = 6.443
Net Betting Units Won = 1.443
Net Winning Percentage (3-1-1) = 60%
Net Return on Investment = +29%

Please note that these are all very conservative numbers.  Some of our subscribers have informed us that they did in fact win the wager that we have recorded as a push which means that for those individuals their winning percentage is significantly higher at 80% and their ROI increases dramatically to +45%.

If you like what you see, please consider becoming a subscriber to our daily pick. You subscribe on a daily basis only which means no ongoing commitments whatsoever.  You are always free to either subscribe or not subscribe each and every single day.

Also, if you have any concerns, comments or questions or if you wish to subscribe you can always reach us at abitbetter247@gmail.com.

Lastly, please consider following us on Twitter at @abitbetter247.

As always, good luck to everyone!

Congratulations to today's subscribers for the pick of the day!  Easy win tonight as Arizona State (-2.5) defeated DePaul 78-56 in NCAAB action.  Our payout was 1.775:

1.000 Units Wagered
1.775 Units Returned
+0.775 Net Units Won

Make no mistake about it, we are here for the long haul and at some point there will be rough seas ahead...but tonight was definitely smooth sailing!

Again, congratulations to everyone who took this wager!

Thanks again for your interest and feedback.

We have implemented the following changes:

(1) All subscriptions to receive the pick of the day are purchased from us by first sending us an email at abitbetter247@gmail.com requesting the pick of the day.

(2) We then immediately respond to the email confirming the request to receive the pick of the day and we provide the subscriber with a unique bitcoin wallet address to which the deposit of the 0.001 BTC fee can be completed.

(3) As soon as we receive the deposit (at least 1 confirmation) we immediately email the registered subscriber with that day's pick of the day.  As previously mentioned, some subscribers have requested information on the other picks that we personally have selected to play but that did not make the final cut as our pick of the day. We are always happy to provide those as well for no additional fee whatsoever.

We wish everyone success today and we invite you to try out our pick of the day.  Cutoff time to receive today's pick of the day is 5:45 PM on this server or approximately 90 minutes from now.

Give us a try and you will see your units won increase steadily over time.

We had a great line for our pick of the day on the NCAAB Kansas (+2) at Colorado game which had a potential payout of 1.877.  By game time the line had changed and Kansas was favored by 1.5 only to lose 75 - 72 on a well defended long 3 at the buzzer! Tough!

We'll bounce back tomorrow!

Congratulations to all of our subscribers! Today's Pick of the Day was NFL Seattle (+3) @ San Francisco.  That was a great run by Kaepernick on 3rd and 7 with 3 minutes to go which allowed the niners to run the clock down, kick the winning field goal and deny Seattle the opportunity to do the same.

As expected, despite the above, we covered the spread and made all of our subscribers WINNERS again today!

Today's Pick of the Day win was particularly satisfying as it's always nice to see all the dumb money trip all over itself to place a losing bet and flush yet another Sunday down the toilet.

Who are we? We're not gamblers...we leave that to the "professionals". But we do know a thing or two about sports and betting lines.

We make our fair share of mistakes too, don't get us wrong, but we also try to help our subscribers get abitbetter247 with their wagering each and every day.

Overall, we went 3 for 3 today.

If you haven't tried out our service yet, give us a shot.  Send an email to abitbetter247@gmail.com requesting to subscribe to our Pick of the Day and we'll guide you through the easy process.

The Pick of the Day is only 0.001 BTC all through December.

As always, best of luck to everyone.

We are still working on today's Pick of the Day.  It's a fairly light schedule tonight and we are waiting for the betting lines to change on a couple of possibilities.

Cutoff time to subscribe to tonight's Pick of the Day will likely be about 5 hours from now.

If you haven't tried our service, email us at abitbetter247@gmail.com to subscribe to our Pick of the Day.  It's easy to do, fun, dirt cheap at only 0.001 BTC, and we do generate pretty healthy returns for our subscribers on most days.

You can also follow us on Twitter at @abitbetter247.  We don't have many followers yet but we do tweet information over the course of the day that might assist you with your success rate.  Our goal is to provide the best service possible and to make all of subscribers abitbetter one day at a time.

Good luck with the MNF game to all those who decide to take it!  It may very we'll end up being our Pick of the Day.
