Perfectly normal, there are new blocks being generated in bitcoin world all the time. Do nothing.

It's an information thing, it's not a warning, it's not an error.  It's just telling you that the pool you're connected to has finished one block and moving to the next block.

It sounds like you don't actually have any bitcoin mining hardware. A computer by itself does not mine bitcoin.

What type of hardware do you have? Fill in the blanks.

Cpu:
Gpu (Graphics Card):
Ram:
Operating System:
Storage:

If you tell us that, we can tell you where the mistake is, and chances are that the above post is correct as it seems that you are maybe only cpu mining, if that.

Let me translate CK's thought: you need an ASIC miner for Bitcoin mining with the current version of cgminer.

If you want to GPU mine scrypt coins, you'll need an older version up to 3.7.x and to turn a few pages back and read this thread Wink

Probably wrong thread anyway, but found an issue with my script... thanks! Wink

No it doesn't look right. What commands are you using to start cgminer?

You are trying to mine scrypt, you need to add --scrypt to make it work

After the password entry, all the parameters and options are in the cgminer readme if you get stuck.

You put scrypt after cgminer
Code:
cgminer --scrypt

Increase your intensity to 16

Press 'G' 'I' and follow the rest of the prompts
