Is a market collapse in May 2018 imminent!

I hope not but Bitcoins drop from approx 9950 USD to approx 9350 USD (depends on what exchange you use) took everyone by surprise
In my opinion BTC is losing dominance and does not have the momentum to break these levels (10K)
People are buying ALTS instead of BTC because they think that larger gains are possible.
Bitcoin still drives the market at the moment.
If Bitcoin suffers so do the ALTS

IF

ETH can gain more dominance along with some other ALTS the market trend will not be driven by Bitcoin


Therefore I believe we are at a junction where the market decides what they want making for an extremely volatile time.

If Bitcoin takes a dive to 9K now it could trigger a market collapse

Chart analyst do not take into consideration the psychology of the market participants and over 95% of them did not see this drop to 9300 USD: A lot of them bought in at 9950 USD and got burnt and are now facing a situation where the market could go into freefall if 9K is breached.

This is a theory and I HOPE I AM WRONG

Maybe Warren Buffets big mouth has screwed everything!

I do not think so. I think it has started already to increase. And it will run till December. In the meantime there may have some ups & down phase according to trade.

BTC is trading at 9320 USD 3pm Asia time. This means that Asian investors are not supporting its price today and they are the majority stake holders along with the whales! Tether and USD are not the drivers: The Yen is the driver!

Why are so many people affected by the movement of bitcoin? They are always negative when bitcoin does not reach the expected resistance. If you are a newbie then cryptocurrency investing is not good for you because you are affected when bitcoin value is down at the price you do not expect to be. But if you are a trader, this is normal.

There maybe ups and there maybe downs in the cryptocurrency movement because of bitcoin. But I believe bitcoin will forever be the king of cryptocurrencies.

So what. The currencies have dropped so many times in the past and they have recovered faster than the previous drops.

This drop is indication of its next level of upgrade and nothin else. When the prices drops after going little higher then people starts to buy more coins to make quick profits from the upcoming surge. So I am pretty sure its not that big deal and we can face it without any problems.

These are normal fluctuations that show that coin price has settled for the time being. There are many prophets saying that bitcoin will rise to $20000 this year and I do believe that this will happen sooner or later, so there is no reason to panic.

If there's a "collapse", I don't think it would be a big one, maybe we can safely say a little correction.
This month could be a delicate month but I'm expecting things to go even better by June.

It won't don't worry. As we all know bitcoin is one of the best innovations together with blockchain. There are lot's of supporters and brilliant people that truly believes in its technology so even if the value of bitcoin will fall lower than what you said which is $9k market won't collapse. Those are just speculations and no proven facts that could back it up so lets just sit back and relax for I'm so certain that by the end of the year all crypto values will skyrocket and history will surely repeats itself and that is already the trend for cryptos. I hope I'm not wrong but that's what we all wanted so don't be an emotional investor just diversify and if your coin's value goes into a dip better look at it as an opportunity to buy some more and invest some more for you will surely profit if your holding it long term.

Well, there are so many opinions but no one really knows what will happen. One day we see a lot of FUD, the next day everyone is crying in joy because BTC broke through another sell wall. But still I am rather bullish on Bitcoin by the end of the year.

Actually, the issue of non-legal state is bound to be very impactful but with other news that there is a state that also legalize will bring a good impact, I feel anyone can predict, but I feel that it will not happen and ordinary, it is a regular market phenomenon .
