Hey! I have been away from the dogecoin for maybe 6-7 months now.
Still holding a good amount, been in it from the start and never sold:P
Looks like the forum activity has decreased a lot since last time I was here.
How is dogecoin holding up? Is there any new things going on? Is it still going strong?

More likely a rebound after massive dump. But I'm not into trading so don't know.

Nice jump for DOGE coin

I am properly one of the worst day trader in the world, and I rarely hold altcoins.
(I have for a long time had DOGE, but only in form of physical coins)
Nevertheless I just bought 1 Million DOGE just two days ago @38 satoshi.
Since I want to have a good price, if the Ultra DOGE physical coin will be minted:

The following article represents a bridge between the cryptocurrency world and the crowdfunding world in the internet universe.  While the article doesn't speak about Doge coin it is written by an immensely popular crowdfunding writer that is speaks fondly about cryptocurrency to her crowdfunding audience.  She is not only writing about CC she is giving a very specific and meaningful application for its use. 

In my opinion the article invites the CF world to step into the CC world for a moment.  Please note their target audience is extremely limited and highly focused, the audience is essentially made up of two types of people: campaign organizers and campaign donors.  If you look at the DNA of a CF organizer, a CF donor, and a CC speculator you will see very little difference because we are all cut from the same cloth, we are all: visionaries, strivers, investors, adventurers, gamblers, thinkers, creators, doers, motivators, leaders ... just like you are.  To me the article is also an invitation to us (CC folk) to inspire crowdfunding folk to know more about the cryptocurrency world, and that is why I'm strongly encouraging all of the communities individually to support your local community by writing a comment at the bottom of the article so that we draw an abundant amount of attention to the article so that the CF people will be motivated to learn more about the CC industry.  If only 10 comments are contributed to the article it will likely gain recognition by the author who many write more stories involving cryptocurrencies.  Many CCs are doing lots of thing in the CF space.

Nice trade and I really like the image in your post. But I have to ask what is happening with Doge?

I read that the original owners have sold out. This disturbs me since I am a Dogecoin millionaire and was really in tune with the direction this coin was taking. I bought in when Doge was in the hundreds of satoshis.  (I've been away for quite some time).

What needs to be done to reinvigorate this coin? I'm much sad.

Not necessarily a bad thing that they sold out, a lot of people were not happy with the decisions they took on multiple occasions.

Best bet is to check out reddit for doge news, this is mainly for update announcements and spam mow

I honestly think that DOGE will survive longer than 99% of the other altcoins.

But this coins should not be taken too serious, buy some, hold them, spend then, give them away or sell them later, do it for the lulz.
 
I am currently having a small stash, some 1.5M if including my physical coins as well, not planing to get rich or anything like that. I just find the coin fun to play around with.

About when is a good time to get in? I think  5 days ago when it was at 38 satoshi was a good time to buy.
Now are we at 47, much harder to say now. From here could it briefly jump to the 80ties, it could also go back to 20-30ties. I don't think we will see 250+ again. Keep in mind there are soo many DOGE coin mined every single day.
In order for the price to go radically up, then must someone buy all these coins.

250 won't happen again before bitcoin goes to 600+ again.

I do think doge is a very strong coin, and has always been strong. I would say anything below 50-60 is a good buy point at the moment.
