Imagine if the devs made dogecoin deflationary. The news alone would make the price explode. Instead it's just going to be dumb internet playmoney that will never be worth anything.

why did everyone agree to the new fork? should have said no. fork it now to POS only with some features people want. the community was huge once it was the devs that sold out and exited the project. |

Yes, Dogecoin's supply has no limit because of block's reward is 10,000 DOGE and this value is constant. But also it means that the year inflation is not constant and tends --> 0%. So in other words, Dogecoin won't get deflation in the future in such degree as Bitcoin. |

Yes, Dogecoin's supply has no limit because of block's reward is 10,000 DOGE and this value is constant. But also it means that the year inflation is not constant and tends --> 0%. So in other words, Dogecoin won't get deflation in the future in such degree as Bitcoin. DOGE inflation isn't too high though its due to increase by around 5% per year and reducing to 2.5% by 2025 - it's not so bad in my opinion - if more people use the coin the inflation wont be noticable |
