As long as the price of bitcoin is not increasing, the prices of altcoin will be in the same situation. So now it is impossible to predict whether the price of coin will increase based on the price of bitcoin. Now it is very good to accumulate as many coins as possible in the market.

Based on my experience, a good indicator for an altcoin season is to see Coinmarketcap's BTC Dominance which i've observed the last time when it was altcoin season was only at more or less 33 percent but right now its more than 51 percent. So I guess there is a correlation of BTC's price and altcoins including Doge.

I will say it was in best interest of Binance to add Doge to get some revenue. How many markets are there which have constant daily volume in millions of dollars how Doge has. Of course volume could increase and its direct benefit was going to both parties. Binance could increase its revenue but they didn't pay attention being too busy with other things. Doge is all fine with its existed structure just consolidation is not completed yet.

Based on previous charts, when Bitcoin's price goes higher, it directly affects other altcoins which results to them having a higher price also including DOGE. In this sense, some will also  hodl their DOGE and bet on it rather than sold it to speculate on Bitcoin's price.

Although Doge is considered a veteran coin in the space, big exchanges tend to be rather picky in their listing choices, especially in bearish market. In my opinion, at this point, it's unrealistic to have hopes for such development.

I do not think a Binance listing could give  a lasting momentum on DOGE's price since its been listed on several decent exchanges, rather, what we must do is to rally the support of the whole community and also create new improvements and activities with DOGE to more excitement about the coin.

A higher price yes in dollars but at the same rate in satoshis. To go up in satoshis means that somebody takes appreciating BTC to purchase DOGE. I would think that some may rather sell their DOGE in order to profit from appreciating BTC.
