Both Warren and Bill Gate are quite influential  globally with lots of followers w there criticism will definitely have an impact on Bitcoin, sure Bitcoin has come to stay globally.

Buffet used to be a critic since he heard about the independent money. His 80 year old brain can't comprehend that money can have no organization standing behind it.
Gates on the other hand sounds like he's scared of the scammers, hackers and money launderers. He used to support technology and progress but now he's just an old man scared for his fortune.

Warren Buffet is an old school investor and made his fortune over a long period of time. Now with cryptocurrencies some people have made their fortune in a very short period of time. That's something Warren Buffet cannot understand and that's why he's criticizing bitcoin. Bill Gates on the other hand, should understand this modern technology, that's why he was first pro bitcoin. Maybe he can't stand it that some make millions with bitcoin so easily.

What I would love is for a reporter to quiz Buffet to determine what his actual knowledge of crytocurrency is. They just assume he understands the technology and its use cases. I don't think he does.

I'm sure he understands it. He just doesn't like it because it threatens every business he has his hands in and undermines a long-held and much-lauded belief system. He didn't care for Google and Amazon, either.

I think this is about their analysis of the crypto world, they see that the crypto world will not last for a long time, so the crypto world is not a good choice to invest. then, especially the warren buffet like the one who hates bitcoin. he said that the crypto world is the bubble.

It's a free world and everyone has rights to talk. Especially on something decentralized bitcoin. Because they don't have to face defamatory lawsuit due of that. So here they are talking non sense about crypto currency. But this is not the first time especially for Mr. Buffet. He has been attacking bitcoin since long time now and stopped making sense to the worldwide crypto community.

Mr. Buffet is speaking against bitcoin for the same reason Mr. Dimon did. They are from organized financial business which is being directly affected by bitcoin and other crypto currencies. But I see no sense when Mr. Gates speaks against it. Their field of business doesn't even correlate. Probably he is heavily influenced by Mr. Buffet or taken a huge short position on bitcoin's price!

There is a simple reply to them and that is they do not know about bitcoin and they do not know about the digital world and its future that is all. They are only rich people and are not the expert of finance especially in the digital world. Or they do not want others to become rich like them. There is also a point that this field is becoming more successful and bill gates have fear that it will be bigger than microsoft.

It's because they want to manipulate the market of cryptocurrency, they will say bad things about it to create fear to small investors and of course people will react and panic because those people who said those things have influence. I'm sure they don't want the price of Bitcoin to surpass the $10000 mark yet so that they can buy at the bottom. They will not agree to be interviewed and ask about Bitcoin/cryptocurrency just because they want to say their opinions, I'm sure there's a hidden agenda and that is to manipulate the price. I remember when Bill Gates said that Bitcoin is better than currency few years ago while the price is not that high, now that Bitcoin price went up he's now on the other side, lol.

I can't anything about them criticizing about bitcoin. They are free to do so but I doubt it that they never invested to bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Bill Gates once said that he do believe bitcoin and even said to "buy bitcoin" I forgot the youtube channel I watched it. And about Warren Buffett, it's still a mystery if he's an investor or only giving constructive criticism. IMO, these people just want to give a full blow to the market so that they can short and pump through their publicity and words.

I guess that the richest people in the world can be in denial of the fact that there are OTHER ways they could never imagine of thinking money. I'll remind everybody of the fact that when Internet has appeared Bill Gates was a major critic of it, and he declared that it had no future.

EG when a rich guy says sell.. he already sold and wants othrs to now sell so he can buy at a discount
then after the rich guy buys at a discount. they will then and only then tell others to start buying. for the price rise. so the richguys can then sell

They are using his/her popularity because they most influencial in the world.Most of people know them thats why they making strategic way to trick those people are holding thier assets like bitcoin to sell.Because their business may be passing by bitcoin, because bitcoin is faster in its market development.
