People calling it a scam are mostly just immature trolls, in my opinion, or involved in price manipulation.

However, the fact the team have yet to reply to communities repeated requests for clarification about the Emercoin 1000 ideas contest giveaway doesn’t help generate much sympathy, or public trust. I hope emc team can work on improving the public image in future.
