Alrighty, Im gonna purchase a domain from an official emercoin domain name registrar. Do they sell .emer domains to corporate entities?

We don't have domain zone *.emer.
Instead, we have 4 zones: *.coin *.emc *.lib *.bazar
You can "buy" domain in the any of these zones. See document for details: http://emercoin.com/EMCDNS_and_NVS

Regarding "sell domain".
We (developers) do not sell domains. You can allocated domain yourself, using EmerCoin wallet.
Just install wallet, take EMCs somewhere (for instance, buy at exchange), and "buy" domains yourself from blockchain.

ChronoBank announces technical partnership with Emercoin

The time-based cryptocurrency initiative will be working closely with the Emercoin team across a number of key areas to bring added value to both parties.

ChronoBank, a blockchain project designed to disrupt the short-term recruitment sector by connecting employers with those selling labour, will be partnering with Emercoin — a well-known and established cryptocurrency platform — across several elements of shared interest.

Emercoin offers diverse blockchain services for businesses and individuals, providing a wide range of facilities that increase transparency, security and reliability. ‘ChronoBank recognises the contribution that Emercoin is making to the blockchain infrastructure that will in future underpin many varied applications, and looks forward to leveraging that knowledge and capability for our own business,’ commented Sergei Sergienko, CEO of ChronoBank. Reflecting the importance of Emercoin to the ongoing success of the project, ChronoBank is now accepting the EMC currency as part of their crowdfund, with the intention of holding it on a long-term basis and working together to bring greater value to it.

Areas of collaboration

ChronoBank will be working with three separate elements of the Emercoin platform, each of which brings something new and valuable to the project. Additionally, Emercoin will consult with ChronoBank concerning advanced financial instruments.

emcSSL
is a scalable infrastructure for passwordless authorisation of web services. Certificates are created locally, with the blockchain acting as a decentralised trust store for hash sums. This unique approach means that emcSSL is immune to system-wide disruption caused by technical failure or malicious attack. Neither is it possible for a single authority to interrupt activity for users.

emcSSH provides a bridge between OpenSSH and the Emercoin blockchain, allowing for secure and decentralised management of public key infrastructure (PKI). OpenSSH can be configured to retrieve SSH credentials from the Emercoin blockchain, which can either be managed directly by users, or managed on behalf of a group by administrators in charge of specific services.

emcDNS is a new service that enables the storage of universal name-value pairs on the blockchain, in broadly the same way that NameCoin does (though without the specialisation on .bit extensions). Emercoin also supports distributed DNS services, and every Emercoin wallet contains a built-in DNS server.

‘Working with Emercoin to implement and further this suite of blockchain-based technologies will put ChronoBank in a very strong position to decentralise our infrastructure and provision of our services to the greatest extent appropriate — with benefits for up-time, security and confidence,’ comments Sergienko.

I've been reading the CronoBank whitepaper and it's an amazing initiative, which I wish much success.  It is great that ChronoBank has specific use for Emercoin features, and also great that you are accepting EMC for the ChronoBank ICO.

I hope there is some coverage of this Emercoin partnership in the media.

Hi People, tell me where to get additional information on EMC?
Namely:
Blockexplorer URL;
Transactionexplorer URL;
Chaininfo URL;
The number of coins in a block.
Still interested in the exchange, which may UNOMP-MPOS pool to the rate information using API.
Code:
/**
 * Ticker API
 *  Fetch exchange rates via an API
 *   https://github.com/MPOS/php-mpos/wiki/Config-Setup#wiki-ticker-api
 **/
$config['price']['enabled'] = true;
$config['price']['url'] = 'https://bittrex.com';
$config['price']['target'] = '/api/v1.1/public/getticker?market=EMC-USD';
$config['price']['currency'] = 'USD';
It is not working.
And other important information on the coin for the correct pool settings. On the official site of such information I could not find it. Maybe she is there, but smeared with a thin layer and not in the eye catches. Though I have to be somewhere on the surface.
My pool for example: art2015.game-server.cc.
Thank you for your attention.

A portion of what you're looking for can be found here: emercoin.mintr.org

The rest another team member will need to chime in on.

Hi,
I came over this coin a few days ago and have been trying to mine it for a coupple of days. It might be the pool that has some issues, but even with 350+Th for 10 straight hours, the pool found 2 blocks. I am NO expert on this, but that seems a little odd.
I was providing 200 of the Th, but after this result, im on the verge of dumping this.

Do you have any idea on what can cause this? or if you know of other working pools, couse I see that blocks are being found(blockexploerer) but NONE comes to the pool ive been mining.
For the record, I'm pretty new at this, so spoonfeeding would be prefered! Smiley

I received a reply from the Emercoin dev support. I forwarded it to Cryptopia support. Let's see if they rebroadcast the transaction.
