Not a direct Bitcoin article, but very much related. Few people are reporting openly on the indebtedness of the UK. MoneyWeek open letter. And: Video of the MoneyWeek open letter. The government can take your money, but not your Bitcoins. The later part of the video covers the likely 'nationalisation' i.e. confiscation of people's money by the government as many indebted governments have done before. Resource allocation, like religion, needs to be divorced from government. Bitcoin, hopefully, is just the beginning. [Edit: You can read a counter argument to the MoneyWeek open letter here.]

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

no mention of bitcoin alrite misery guts, he did say it wasn't directly related... does the world really have to revolve around the keyword of 'bitcoin' for it to be considered relevant, or is it conceivable that there are some things that might actually be related to the topic without needing some journalist to make the connection for you?

Amusing at the very end of the article, they offer to sell you a years subscription of the magazine for a 49% discount if you pay using credit card, the very thing they've been warning about the entire article lol. Capitalism, gee ain't it swell!
