Do these things work? I have seen ppl posting happy responses, but I'm wary of these, even though the amounts are small.

I'm referring to things liks http://bitcoinduit.com/game/viewRound.php?id=High_Roller
And  http://rand.bitcat.ch/?ref=54

What are your experiences with these?

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

They do work, but they are pyramid schemes. You win if people enter after you. Last people entering will loose.

They work pretty well, but only if you get in early! Chances are if someone if referring you it is too late. That being said its a good way to get started with bitcoins!

Hey, that one's mine!  Cheesy

I like the pyramids better than random number generators since there is some skill involved in guessing how people will behave. Human nature being as unpredictable as it is, however...

Still around.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply that Bitcoinduit was mine, just the Round "Insomnia" that TheHumanatee linked to. That one expired, BTW, but Insomnia_2 is just starting!

Still around.

Aren't the RNGs more pyramid like than the bitcoinduit ones, which IMO are more like Ponzi schemes (you get payed with other investor's money rather than referal based towers)?

Any pyramid or ponzi scheme will have a negative expected return on the investment for the majority of investors*.

Works great if you promote. Make sure you arent the last. If its consistently growing as bitcat.ch is then there is no fear of loss. My method works great. I have several accounts, all verified, references of each other. Therefore increasing my chances of grabbing random referrals. Increasing my chances of taking the jackpot. & increasing my income as well as paying myself back for initial investments. I have over 18 accounts verified all branched off each other. Now by only round 2 of being in it I have made back my investment & am guaranteed to make more in the rounds to come. I will be set with a consistent flow of BTC trickling in through each account  as well as increase my income by adding more accounts as time goes on. Just know that you cant earn a referral for an account until it is verified. So you need to start with 1 & expand gradually. Ideally if we all work together we all help each other get paid. That being said I hope to see you all there. Heres my LINK:

For the majority of investments any pyramid or ponzi scheme with less than 2x payout will have a positive actual return though. Expected or actual, you choose.

Agreed. Pyramid schemes, as they proliferate they're going to eventually collapse beneath their own weight. Although, it does move BTC around. Smiley

Should have considered that fact before putting it out. People will always find an exploit. If everyone was doing what I do then its just a matter of who does it more. Same opportunity all around. Its fair Smiley
