BFL prices were set a long time ago and are now completely crazy. The only reason they sell anything at those prices is because they can supply from stock, and a miner in the hand is worth two in the bush.
Black Arrows prices are probably realistic as 100G in March will not be anything to get excited about and as it seems to be made with only one ASIC it will be pretty cheap to manufacture.

Do they respond to emails?  They haven't with me.  It's in regards to my order and if it's till. laid for me to send payment.

Put something in my tip jar if I made your day. Smiley

They do, but at a large delay. They're probably swamped with emails like minersource...probably.

It's been stated they're certain that they will deliver exactly on or near February 24th. I'm not sure if this comes from pure confidence or a highly efficient production line.

Even if Black Arrow delivers in time, iits still 2 and a half months away.By that time bitcoin difficulty will increase so much that we wont earn coins anywhere close like we are calculating now.

wrong.   black arrow is due in 60 -75 days   5 or 6 diff adjustments.  do your math

 at 30%   you get this

    908 mill now
  1180 mill dec 22
 1535  mill  jan 4
 1995  mill  jan 16
 2594  mill   jan 28
 3372  mill  feb 9
 4384  mill  feb 21

machine comes in  you have 2th it earns about .25 coins a day  if coins stay at 1000 you would have a chance to turn a profit.

at just  27 %  that feb 21 number is  3000 mill

machine comes in  you earn .334 coins a day  if coins stay at 1000 you would most likely make money

lastly at 25%   that feb 21 number is 2775

machine comes in  you earn .36  btc a day  if coins are at 1000 you would get into the range of good money made

just drop done a little more to 20%  you get 2260 mill

machine comes in you earn .44 btc a day  at 1000 a coin you will do very well.

many ifs

Your logic didn't work for the past three difficulty jumps otherwise we would have been at 1 billion already.  Don't use doubling math.
I think you have not a real understanding of what I wrote.

I have 4 cases  up to the feb 25 date

one at 30% gets to 4383 mill
two at 27% gets to 3000 mill
three at 25%  gets to 2775 mill
four at 20%  gets to 2260 mill

any of them could happen.

worse case 4383   best case  2260 mill.

and this has not included the price of btc     will it be 200 usd  1000 usd  2000 usd

    so many ifs

For whatever my anecdote is worth, they were responsive when I placed an order on their website, and emailed me to send payment to an address, but have not responded to any further emails I have sent to them. I was not able to submit payment within 24 hours and have been trying to reach someone to resolve the status of my order.

I want hardware and "cloud-mining" so bad from them... but I also still dont know if they are reliable or not.
When asking if I can visit them, I did not get any reply, which is not a good sign.

But maybe I am wrong and just miss a good opportunity.....
Its really really hard.... Wink

If you look at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=294197.msg3884729#msg3884729 you will see a little way down that bobsag3 has posted many pictures of his visit to Black Arrow a few days ago.

I have been looking at Black Arrow Software from last month.Their prices are too low compared to Butterflylabs(BFL) and Kncminer:

Black Arrows' Prospero X-1 (100Ghash/second) is $352 only where BFL's 50 GH/S BITCOIN MINER is $2500

Black Arrows' Prospero X-3 (2000Ghash/second) is $5950 where BFL's 600 GH/S BITCOIN MINING CARD is $4680 and Kncminer's Neptune (3000Ghash/sec) is $13000

Black Arrow's Rent-Some-Minions - 6 months for 1000Ghash/sec is $3050 and BFL's 1Ghash/sec for 1 year is $10.83 that's $5.415/6month.Now for 1000hash/sec it's $5415/6month.

As you can see in every product Black Arrow's price is just too unimaginably low. They are based in China which also makes a suspicion in me if they are legit or not. Also they don't allow group buys. They start shipping from February next year.I don't see any other provider offering anything at that price not even close to them.

They have phone numbers for China,Hong Kong,UK and US.So are they real or just a scam?Waiting to hear from specialists here.

Same perception I had a year ago.
Ordered some ASIC miners from the BTCfpga team (USA). They tanked.
Should have bought Avalon units (China) . Still banging my head.

 3372  mill  feb 9
 4384  mill  feb 21
[...]

Almost correct, but with a 30% increase in difficulty, the 2016 block period is shortened equally (to below 11 days; 14/1.3=10.77). Correct calculation for 30% difficulty increase:
Code:
date diff in mio.	time frame for 2016 blocks
10 Dec 13 908 10,77
20 Dec 13 1.180   10,77
31 Dec 13 1.535   10,77
11 Jan 14 1.995   10,77
22 Jan 14 2.593   10,77
1 Feb 14 3.371   10,77
12 Feb 14 4.383   10,77
23 Feb 14 5.698   10,77
6 Mar 14 7.407   10,77

I expect the difficulty increase to slow down a bit. Currently there are roughly 6.5 PH/s running.
To boost that up to a difficulty of 7400 million until beginning of march, you need another 46 PH/s added to the Bitcoin network.
The total amount of PH/s (that is yet announced, but needs to be delivered) for 2014 is only a bit more than 20 PH/s.
Even with the late delivery that was announced for 2013 (and that may happen in early 2014) it can be doubted that the total network speed will reach more than 50 PH/s by beginning of march 2014.
But who knows...

Warning.

I suggest you all take a look at the Drillbit thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=266235.msg3898239#msg3898239

BlackArrow assembled the boards and look where we are today...having MAJOR issues requiring repair.  Beware.

I was tempted to put in an order, but running the numbers, you'll be lucky if you break even by the time it ships, and that's assuming you get close to 100% utilization.  If it's as new as they claim it is..there's gonna be duds, knowing my luck I'll get one of them.  Buying server time seems to give best returns for minimal risk.

Friend at the MGM bitcoin conference said that the Hashfast Babyjet is officially real, and 400ghps.  There's a lot of this stuff coming online soon.  If you have equipment that is getting less than 1ghps per watt, I would really suggest you offload it to an enemy soon.   Tongue

Its a real company with a proven trackrecond supplying FPGA miners. There is very little to no doubt their asic project is genuine. Whether or not they will be able to deliver what they promise when they promise,  is anyone's guess, but that goes for every other company out there.

What about the pricing,is it real?

Lol on this

Blackarrow will deliver the goods, on time. I will be selling my X-1's for a grand each when they arrive. They will sell out in 2 hours.
