What an utterly boring game. Such an anti climax, especially considering the amazing turnarounds both teams made in the semis even with weakened teams.

Exactly.  I started not caring when Lucas Moura came in and nothing.  At least Son really tried to make something happen.  The rest were meh.

I feel sorry for the fans who traveled all the way to see one of the most lucklustre finals in UCL history.

Trust me, if we won it with 0-0 full time and extra time,,, with even 0 shots on target, and we somehow won it on penalties,,, we would not need anybody to feel sorry for the fans, and the fans would not care.

This was a final both teams wanted to win, and they were probably both just too tired to play with style and they did not expect to sweat so much. Poch said this was not a tactical but emotional game. Maybe he did not realize it was the team who could control emotions the most would win and that was Liverpool.

It was not a very entertaining final.The referee impacted the game as you cannot give a penalty in just 38 sec gameplay although I know that Liverpool would have won even without the penalty.Tottenham had not clear ideas and lack of experience so congratulations to Liverpool for this deserved win.

Fuck, what a weekend, what a night on Saturday. We are the Champions of Europe. Just checked out of my hotel, waiting in the lobby before going to airport.

I met micgoossens (from here) & his girl in Madrid & watched the game with them. I was out drinking in the sun from 9am. No food all day until the night, shit. I got sunburn/sunstroke too.

All that matters is that we are Champions though. Very happy LFC_Bitcoin.

I saw the pics also from the parade yesterday, only got the front view though so could hardly see Klopp and the front 3 much tbh, so not even sure if they were on the bus except for a faded blur of Klopp with beer haha.

Travel safe, you can see the trophy at Anfield for the rest of the year now I guess!

And yeah, all that matters has transpired, and we got what was promised. I can't believe I've seen two trophies won in my lifetime! Mourinho's right, we can make a third final appearance;) [Image from BBC]

it's the destiny of many finals. as you understand the result is much more important than the quality of game so teams try to achieve the result and win the trophy.

One of the most boring matches I have seen in my entire life. Liverpool just found the score through a penalty on just second minute and all game just dropped the tempo. They literally made Tottenham sleep all game so there was no rivalry or anything going on, all both teams did was stay calm and pass as much as possible without really going into attack ever.

I am sick and tired of this type of games, Chelsea used to play like that and that sucked so bad, they won couple cups as well but at what cost, I understand Liverpool fans are super happy because after all they have won the cup but all other global fans that are just here for the cup really couldn't possibly be happy for this game, look at the 4-0 Barcelona game and look at this, so much difference in the team with just simple tactical changes.

I thought VAR will deny that penalty but it didn’t happened as Salah Scores.I am a big pochettino fan, really liked the way he brought Spurs on Final.I felt Spurs were weak in Mid-field and also on forward.Spurs could have score one goal toughly because I expected more from Kane and Son.Anyway, Liverpool deserve to win the title, they played good football in UCL.           

I wonder if Tottenham didn't pass Ajax and Ajax was in the final, what would happen.
There was a high possibility that Ajax would have won the title, but we will never know now. Liverpool deserved it, however if I were the referee I wouldn't give a penalty so early in the game.

Yeah if they didn't pass, if Ajax didn't lose, then it will be something. You can't say that Ajax will win in final, Liverpool have a much stronger team, but it can certainly be said to have a better quality of the final game. Poor and disappointing performance from Tottenham in the final night.

It’s in Istanbul, I won’t be travelling over for the Super Cup Final. The CL Final is in Istanbul next May too. I would travel there for the CL Final but not for the Super Cup. I’d rather spend the money it takes for tickets & hotels to the Super Cup Final on bitcoin.

Add to that the fact that it comes at the end of grueling training sessions and lots of players will have heavy legs and/or be totally out of form. Quite possibly some of the best players will not even play. Only good thing I can say about Super Cup is that it is often full of goals. Perfect match to watch at home with couple of cold bears and friends.
