I started downloading Bitcoin and so far have 135000 blocks done.

But it's now going very slowly  - like 100 bytes/s.

I have a regular CPU  2.80GHz

How many block are there to download ?   -- So I can approximate how much time it would take at current rate

Thanks

At my current rate I am downloading some 30 blocks per minute.

So how many more blocks are to be downloaded?

Or what is the approximate total to be downloaded?

It is under 500 MB.

And unless you are getting it transmitted to you by morse code, the download time is trivial compared to the time needed to verify each transaction and block.
