What does it for me is his attitude, the way he expresses his opinions as if they are the only ones on earth and everyone should abide by his beliefs. He might just be overjoyed about bitcoin..

+1 i think he is mad for trying to do this  -  pissing off tons of people for how much gain exactly? In his position with 10k BTC & solid media role i wouldnt be doing that for even $100k gain in 1 day.

Definitely bad for the credibility of Bitcoin if he becomes the main proponent in the media spotlight. He certainly has a talent for picking up on trends but the way he promotes them is ultimately damaging, not only to the asset in question, but the people who buy into it  - eg, the "Buy Silver Crash JP Morgan" campaign.

He's how I first heard about bitcoin; I almost missed it too, and had to rewind, but I'd heard him mention it briefly back in Jan this year, and I thought, "What on earth is bitcoin?"
