Watching various coins for a while now, interested in trading but didn't want to invest my own cash.

Started mining last week, generated some coins and now trading away.

Thought access to this forum would be useful, so here's the obligatory first post.

It's all about the Doge.

Welcome to the forum! Out of interest, which coins do you mine and where do you sell?

Hey OP which coins have you been mining, and how many hashes are you getting?

Mining in pools, mainly;

coinex.pw
wemineltc.com
doge.gentoomen.org

Primarily mining LTC, but also WDC, IFC, SXC and NEC.

Many mining Doge this day too. Wanting millionaire.  Wink

I've got an R9 280x, giving me ~700 kh/s

** edit **

Trading on coinex.pw, although not today because they seem to be having some server issues

Hello, I'm new and needing help with pooling on my Mac. To join in pooling do I first need to purchase asics, or can pooling be achieved registering with BitMinter? Please advise, mat

You do not need an ASIC to mine, but without one you will struggle with SHA based coins.

If you're looking to mine scrypt based coins, an ASIC isn't going to help as the current ones only mine SHA. You really need a decent GPU to mine scrypt coins.

You can mine either coin type using your CPU, although progress will be slow.
