Dear Crypto users,

I am considering a lawsuite against Cryptsy.

Due to the lack of service and technical failure and increasing numbers of support tickets.

I have already contacted a lawyer and he is investigating the owners and company to find bases to start a trial.

I do think allot of people already lost money because of the weird buy/sell orders. Sometimes you cant buy or sell. Sometimes you have to wait days on your money.

This problems persist for weeks now and they dont do anything about it.

If they were professionals they would close their website down till the problems are fixed, people are losing real money here its not a joke anymore.

I am gathering all the complaints, so if you have some please leave it behind in a post maybe we can file for compensation for the damages that is happend because of this website.

If the lawyer reports back with a good case maybe we can pay him together for a case. If not i will do it alone Smiley

so what is the goal?
i dont hope to make them bankrupt. that would be bad.

but a warn shot, that they must fix the technical problems by court isnt a bad idea.

greetings

This place is a joke, its seriously needs some regulation, crypsty are high volume trading on spreads and canceling sell orders so they can cash in.
Its been going on for to long now, its not hard when u are doing 10mil + volume a day to rent pubnub.com servers..... the only explanation for this is its more financial beneficial to not fix.
I just made my options clear in irc and was greeted with a instant BAN, now consider i have lost over 5btc with crypsty today and that is not including all my canceled orders and "missing money".
We must stand as a community and not let them get away with such blatant day light robbery. Can anyone suggest to me a new exchange to take my volume to please? If we stay at crypsty we send the message that this behavior is acceptable. User that was on the auto defensive baning all ney sayers but giving no explanation was "BitBob" i suggest everyon effected by this mark bitbob with the oppropreate feedback on his trust account. I have been a member of btctalk for 3-4years and a member of crypsty since day one, im shocked at my treatment, on christmass eve..... im dumbfounded.

EDIT:

The issue isnt if i will get my "missing" acocunts back, for i know i will...
The issue is the amount of opportunity they are artificially creating with these problems, they are pushing prices up and dumping when they know noone else can do anything.
I have lost maybe 4btc in just profit alone today not alone in missing accounts...
hey maybe im wrong and maybe its all good, maybe vern just is using shit server technology on shit servers but everytime it happens i notice the same strange patterns pop up in the order books.
I said high volume trading, maybe not exactly that but for sure there is something dodgy going on here.

Please do sue them, doing so could result in the cryptsy scam site being shut down - if it does not go away within a week or two as I suspect. The kind of "problems" cryptsy has are typical of scam exchanges where the operators intent do run away with people's money. I suspect cryptsy will go away on it's own, but do sue them anyway (and that does give you a chance of getting your funds out).

Allowing Cryptsy to keep scamming users and outright stealing people's funds is bad for cryptocurrencies in general.

I dont think they are stealing, and noting dodgy is going on, its all mistake but bad management, they need to upgrade server technologies and recode the site for the load, they have come a long way and done alot of work on the gui, etc, i dont think they "are going anywhere" and i dont think they ever intend to "rip anyone off" my previous post was in the heat of the moment. What i do think is they really need to sort out there technologies that is all. I think crypsty will remain as the biggest altcoin exchange for a long time, but because they are they have a responsibility to the users, tahts all.
My accusations did get out of hand but they are interesting none the less. I will make it clear now they have never "Stolen" from me, its always put back, but its the matter of lost opportunitys that pisses me off.
