I've been mining dogecoins on this pool: http://rav3n.dtdns.net:9555 for more than 17 hours but haven't received a single doge. My username is the doge address. and guiminer says 393 accepted shares and stuff but still I dont receive anything? The doge address/username: D7xbpPkqvKkB2WTpHjQNXNiS8DQPDPJoVN

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

the problem with it is that it even exists.

You would mine a coin where the dev can't spell doggie?

This copy and paste clone will never hit an exchange and your gpu cycles could have mined you lots of alts that have a value??

NOOBS hoping to get rich on the last copy and paste coin that no exchange will accept will be disappointed.

Don't mine them hehe get "mine" .. I kid I kid.

Is there no one that controls the pool your in that can assist you?  I'm not very aware of dogecoin so I assume not many ppl on bitcointalk will be able to help you in a timely fashion but best of luck fixing the problem.

That's not the point, crypto.  Digging is more fun than mining.  Dogecoin is cute, and it allows even those of us with neither whit nor impeccable to obtain laughter from the crowd.

Its innate value is not the ability to be spent--but its ability to be punned at parties.

I would like to work on development of a polymorphic altcoin that maintains a stable value and is more resistant to fraud.
