I did several deposits today, with various currencies.
I am used to Cryptsy long deposit times, but I've waited 1/2 day now - yet none of them did materialize on Cryptsy so far!
Are they doing maintenance - or is Cryptsy finally totally broken?

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Have you contacted support? I have done some deposits recently and it has taken under 2 hours for the coins to be in my account.

I also deposited some LTC and it hasn't reached my account. Best thing to do would be to open a support ticket, although it would seem it could take up to 48 hours for a response.
They are obviously having problems scaling the site to the influx of new users. Hopefully they sort it out soon.

I just placed a sell order - and this is what happened:
- the order was not executed (does not show in the "Trade History") - the order does not show in the "Open Orders" list - my coins vanished
Is this "normal" for Cryptsy?
Are my coins lost?

try it with a support ticket, in the mean time withdraw all your coin immediately! Cryptsy has serious database problems, trust is lost.

I can't even withdraw my BTC from the site and support do not reply to any of my tickets. If I didn't know better (and if it hadn't been around for so long) I'd be calling Cryptsy a scam.

This is a public service announcement to anyone thinking of trading on this site right now. Some users are reporting as much as 10 days to withdraw funds, with most users reporting 3-4 days with no resolution as of yet.
The site is overloaded, and unusable. you WILL lose money. If you plan on trading for BTC to turn into Fiat currency for the upcoming holidays (which i'm sure many people are), it will take many days to resolve (if ever??), by which time your BTC will lose value at best, and be lost at worst.
I've personally lost over $2000 USD from this site in the last 5 days, all because of errors from the site itself.
Spread the word, this site should NOT be open for trading until these issues are resolved, their continued stubbornness in trying to process orders is unjustifiable. They are continuing to scam people without their knowledge that there are huge week-long delays in transactions at best, and entire portfolios being totally lost at worst.
