That's the main reason I joined. I had every opportunity to jump on Bitcoins the moment they came out, but I was stupid, and I didn't. Now there's all kinds of coins floating around worth real money.
So, I'm jumping on the *DOGECOIN*
I figure it'll have enough support what with all the forums that spam Doge all over... Soo..... I will be rich. In Doge.

Bitcoin was a joke in the beginning. It had the support of very few people. Dogecoin automatically has the support of several massive internet forums. How is it any more of a joke than any other cryptocurrency? |

What's the main reason you joined? I'm confused, where's the substance to your belief in dogecoin? It's the altcoin flavor of the week. People like it because they can mine a lot of coin with very little hardware.. |

How is it any more of a joke than any other cryptocurrency? A clone , it has no support ,is the cool thing of the week for now Look a few weeks back and you could read the same about Quark. Next week there will be a launch for Santacoin and doge coin will fade away. |

It brings many doge, much lel. I believe in Dogecoin for one simple reason: Popularity always trumps all. Just look at the Xbox360. Complete trash compared to PS3, but thanks to massive Microsoft popularity, it succeeded with lower hardware quality. |

As best I can tell here is what Dogecoin has going for it:
Of the many useless altcoins this is the first one to not take itself seriously at all.
Yes, it's a joke and this community has needed one for a long time.
It's fun to have lots and lots of coins, even if it is just lots and lots of nothing. And with 100 billion coins (vs 21 million BTC) there are going to be lots of people with lots of nothing.
It launched with some rudimentary infrastructure, it has lots of faucets and some gambling sites so everyone can get in on it and do something with it.

Everything Bitcoin and other alt coins brings? DOGE is a very stable coin and is getting really popular.... if more start using it for trading, then no one can stop it from being the next Bitcoin.... Hop on the train while you can.... |
