It's 8:45 EST now, right? So the coin will be started in 3 hours ?
By Midnight EST I would think 9 hours and 20 minutes left to go.

Syscoin has the best of Bitcoin and Ethereum in one place, it's merge mined with Bitcoin so it is plugged into Bitcoin's ecosystem and takes full advantage of it's POW while rewarding Bitcoin miners with Syscoin

so nice when we can download wallet? In 28 hours. :-) Wait, wouldn't that be 12/22 12AM? Yeah, no chit . . . here I was thinking the release was 12/21 12:00am EST (which was 5 minutes ago), apparently the dev doesn't realize how dates work Saturday night, 12:00am CST is actually 12/22 12:00:00 AM is Midnight. It's a common misconception that the new day begins exactly Midnight. So he is correct stating that it will be released on 12/21/2013 12:00:00 AM, assuming he is isn't one second too late, cause that would be 12/22/2013 12:00:01 AM.

Has anyone clicked the WordPress logo in the upper left corner on the website? ? Not one of the dropdowns, but the actual logo. Did I find an Easter Egg?

This isn't true. In every environment where there's an official stance on this, (military, for example) 12:00:00 AM midnight is the start of the next day. 12:00:00 AM is just as much tomorrow as 12:00:01, it's the second between 11:59:59 and 12:00:00 that makes the difference. In casual day-to-day use, however, people treat midnight as if it belongs to the day it follows all the time, so it's common enough that no one should be surprised this dev did so. That said, it's best to avoid saying anything is happening at midnight, to avoid confusion. That's why airlines never have midnight flights, they have 11:59PM and 12:01AM flights, and a midnight showing of a movie is typically at 11:59PM. EDIT: There's one exception I know of to the 12:00:00AM rule, and that's ISO 8601. TheBeardedMann may be basing his info on that standard.

So yeah, I was basing it off ISO 8601 (had to Google that one, didn't know the "proper name" for a 24 hour clock). All in all, never use midnight for announcements, documents, invitations, etc. You might get Newmannium'd http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Millennium_(Seinfeld).

Yes, although there is a GPU miner available called Smelter that some people have used with Quark-based coins with success.
