I made a non-standard transaction and try to make it accepted in a blockchain
I can't try in a reasonable time because in Bitcoin only Eligius accepts non-standard tx, and in testnet no block was found for one day
(I'm going to use testnet-in-a-box but I would need a block explorer and I don't have Abe installed, so it's not a complete solution)

The problem is that I didn't even know if my node broadcast my tx (I know others nodes don't), it displays the tx but I can't double-click it

So, how can I be sure Eligius received my tx and is about to put it in the next block it finds?

other nodes won't relay it, but 173.242.112.53 will: http://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Free_transaction_relay_policy

maybe there's an easy way to monitor using another node connected to 173.242.112.53 to see if it relays the trx back to you.
