Maybe it could be a great solution. but don't all bitcoin owned revamped to ethereum. allocate only a portion so get to have double investments by two great cryptos i.e. bitcoin and altcoin. If investing in both I think it would be much more beneficial in some time in the future.

In my opinion, I would have to try 10%of my btc to ETH and observe how it goes and don't just transfer immediately without observation on the market.
Study the market trend and analyze how the market goes for both ETH and BTC and have comparative study. With the proper study, you may decide what is best for your investment.

Why do you want to sell bitcoin and but eth? That is not a wise idea. Bitcoin value is in its downfall. Better to hold it than to cut losses. Just wait for the right time tp sell it and if you gain profit. In eth you can buy this even you don't sell btc, wait for the time that eth value decreases and then buy this and hold.

Being an owner of the bitcoins, it is you who must make the decision at the end but I don’t think so that doing so is a very good idea and that you should go for it. If you are interested in buying of the ETH, then you can go for buying of the ETH along with the holding of the bitcoins which you have bought previously. There is no need to switch in between bitcoin and ETH as bitcoin is more profitable coin.

Yeah you should convert your bitcoin to altcoins, but don't convert it all.
you must diversify your investment portfolio. otherwise, if your coins price falling, you will have a big loss only from that coin.

I reckon it is not a wise move to do right now. I am not saying you shouldn`t do it, because I believe every investor should decide on his own, whether to put his money into something or not, but if I were you I wouldn`t do it any time soon.

I think you should leave it in bitcoin, it has the ability to run faster than other crypto even than eth, i would rather keep my bitcoin than converting it to eth.

Why would you convert your Bitcoin to ethereum? the best thing you can do is to follow your path. Ethereum is a 2nd coin that is very popular with it's strategy to promote their smart contracts i'm sure alot of business will come to it's path.

If you are already in a safe and secure coin, I do not think you need to sell bitcoin now for you to buy to ethereum. You will incur a huge loss if you sell bitcoins at a time when prices are falling as they are today. You have an opportunity to earn a substantial income from bitcoin when the bitcoin price rises, you better be patient and wait for the bitcoin to soar because you will get a lot of surprises from bitcoin.

It would be depending on your preference as an investor. Gigen that both cryptos are good cryptos to hold for years and  etherium's market price increase is just proportional with bitcoin's, I think it won't be a bad idea. But I highly recommend having holdings on bith bitcoin and etherium and just hold and be patient until the market continuously increase just like last year.

Well, nope. It is better to hold it in bitcoin than ethereum. We all know that ethereum is also a worthy coin but still bitcoin is the greatest of them all and you should also trust BTC.

Im a ethereum fan boy and i really supports ETH but sometimes bitcoin is the one and the most profitable of them all.

Take decision by yourself, don't listen to guys talking about it here. If you are in doubts, just convert half of your BTC in to Ethereum and that's it.
It is not a big deal, but diversificated portfolio is far better

It's a good idea BTW since ETH price already reach its stable price and no more major price change to be expected. It can be dump again anytime once those whales that pump it until this current price decided to take their profit. Don't regret on selling especially when you are already in profit
