Dont need to do that. Because , If ETH price increase BTC will increase too. So , iit is said that altcoins have a price relationship with bitcoin. Its not a wise move for investment. You can gain more profit from bitcoin.

according to this, now Ethereum is more promising than Bitcoin and it will be a worthwhile exchange. But I will not do the same,
because holding Bitcoin is also a good idea. So It's better not to rush. Now maybe Bitcoin will go to the big pump.

Diversify your portfolio. Look at % gains and spread your money accordingly. Say, if you have $2000. If BTC go from $2000 to $3000 in a year, you gained $1000. But if you put $1000 in BTC and $1000 in ETH and both ETH and BTC goes up by 50%. You make $1250. I'm playing with numbers here assuming a rate of $2000/btc and $200/ETH.

Edit: but, I'm more sentimental to ETH and I'm a HODLer. So, all my money is on ETH.

I did this with my ETH for a BTC fork before --

Keep in mind: you'll have to pay taxes (short or long term..) not sure if you're in the states or not.

You NEED to convert it back... I made the mistake on this. A short time later BTC went to it's all time high, but eth went from like 200 to eventually 1500. I lost a lot of money.

Don't buy into the fomo and don't be overly greedy!

If I better don't. bitcoin is too potent for abandoned and moved to another crypto. other cryptos will not necessarily be able to exceed the potential of bitcoin as all existing altcoin programme on the value of bitcoin. so better hold and be patient first because of rising bitcoin will certainly be very large and can bring great results, too.

I think you can convert it up to 50% your assets, all the markets are in red don't sell your assets right now. For converting it's okay. Ethereum is to cheap right now and i think when market recover it will go up again. You better hold bitcoin and ethereum this two coin already have a good track record..

personally, I think, Never turning bitcoin into Ethereum is a bad idea because these two coins are very stable coins in the market and worth having. If you have enough money in your pocket why not buy another investment like Ethereum. But if there is no capital you should invest in Bitcoin because he will give you a big profit.

I don't think it's a good decision, because from those two I believe more in Bitcoin, Ethereum can be destroyed by government and fud things going on around, and Bitcoin in my humble, is strong enough to breakthrough all those.

Well, you can definitely convert some bitcoin to Ethereum, but not all of your bitcoin. As bitcoin is still the best cryptocurrency and has huge potential, so it wouldn't be wise to convert them all.

I think you should do this, but only half of the ether, of course, Bitcoin is also very good, but just to say the future, the most used is still the ether, it can do anything, has become the circulation standard in the cryptocurrency world.

I won't sell all my Bitcoins I will keep at least half of them cause you never know which coin will pump and which won't. Also Ethereum price is still tied to that of Bitcoin so whichever direction Bitcoin moves Ethereum is going to follow. I would wait till Ethereum price is decoupled from that of Bitcoin before going all in into Ethereum.

It will be the same if you convert your btc to eth. When btc value goes down as well a eth and other crypto will be likely more affected on it. It would be better if you just hold your bitcoin and wait for the right time.

I will rather leave my bitcoin and use fiat to buy Ethereum, this etherum seems to going down to the dip pit, I hope it doesn't go further than this current dip.

I think holding btc now will give you more profit than ethereum. Btc value drop this past months and its expected to bounce back or even surpass its ATH, so for me, keep your BTC for now and watch it rise and gives you good fortune.

Risky but I like this move. I think Bitcoin is much more stable coin, but the potential of Ethereum brings the risk to a lower level, even though it is an altcoin. I am thinking of doing the same thing with my portfolio but haven`t decided yet.

i was thinking to sell my bitcoins and buy ethereum what do you thinkl guys
don't, bitcoin paired ethereum has a high price. and ethereum paired fiat money is cheap. you should stick with your bitcoin .. if you can not afford it. then forget it. and think for long-term investment. you can return to your wallet 1-2 years. I am sure it will give you a big profit.

both coins are very good, but I still choose bitcoin, because I'm sure there will be many new and big investors who will do crypto investing again, and because bitcoin is the first and very popular digital crypto, so I'm sure they'll buy bitcoin

Ethereum is pretty cool. Lately I've been trying to get into Dapps and games that are being developed with the smart contract functioning of the Eth network. Most of the games are like ICO scams in that they offer presale of OP items that you can't actually use because it's just pixel games and no gameplay Grin but I like it because eventually there will be a good game with low entry I think War of Cryptos might be that...but be careful. I don't invest in pre-sales anyways.
