There is no point to explain to him anything, bitcoin price will not go back to 400 dollars, but even if it does it will bounce back and if he leave now he will miss all that for sure. That can't happen, but this guy made us think what if something like that happen and to create some theories.
Price fluctuate all the time, last drop is caused by the sell of in Asia, market lost almost 100 billion dollars in seven days, some alts dropped even more then bitcoin.

Who could imagine Silver price will fall to $9/ounce and gold to $900/ounce. I see DOW Jones at 7000

Are you serious. Do you think the bitcoin price will move to 400$ after Five years. Not possible. After the last year end,the price of bitcoin is reduced due to the huge selling of bitcoin. When the bitcoin price start to raise again, some fake news and ban news stop his growth. This is the reason for 20k$ to 6500$.Now the price of bitcoin is recovering and in few months .The price of bitcoin will reach 20,000$ again.

If you have Bitcoin on hand, then that's good. Because if Bitcoin will get higher then you will benefit after 5 years. We cannot change your decision. It is your money and it is your choice. I think in 5 years is more than expensive than now so if stay away in bitcoin for 5 years then comeback I think you cannot afford it because of higher price it depends if you have capital to afford it. Much better to buy now hold it for 5 years so you can get a profit after 5 years.

It depends if after 5 year bitcoin will  soar and didn't collapse and become stable for long time,  for sure you will gain more profits but when opposite happen you will regrets as well. 'cause we are not sure if the price of bitcoin will touch down Ath after 5 years.  Because of some causes that always exist nowadays , and i think whales is the common example that really affect bitcoin price when it occurred.  So we are not sure if holding bitcoin for 5 year is good or not. Unless if those manipulation disappear in the market  IMO.

The OP must be a frustrated investor/trader who got stressed by the high volatility of Bitcoin. If this guy store some Bitcoin in his wallet and forget about it then come back after 5 years, then that would be quite a good decision out of frustration. But, when coming back after 5 years without anything in wallet, that would be a complete disaster for the OP as the price will surely multiply as years pass by.

Its a lot better that the guy who sell all his bitcoin because he loses faith on it. If you will take rest for five years but still got a crypto onhand, the return would likely be a boom. From what i know bitcoin cannot be used in criminal activities because it can be tracked and so is the reason many criminals are caught, so before coming to a conclusion make sure you learn about what you are talking about. The crash is not a big deal as i never expected the price to be trading around $10k last year, it is still really high by any investment standards, if you are not interested then do not invest in it.

That is a very significant amount of money that you invested in bitcoin, can we know why you are selling? Is it only because of the low price? I appreciate your thinking about bitcoin. In this day bitcoin is not for investment due to high bump and dump. From $9800 to $8500 today. What is this? Can you imagine any crypto can be so volatile? It is just non sense. I will never invest in bitcoin till the price become stable to some extent; because I don’t want to lose my hard earn money in seconds.
