coin price has been fluctuating because of fears of government crackdowns since the value of the cryptocurrency skyrocketed before Christmas. The government  could "kill" bitcoin unless more is done to further develop blockchain. The currency itself isn’t a great medium of exchange, it’s not a great store of value. It has a fixed amount so the Fed would have to kill it at some point because they wouldn’t be able to engage in monetary policy.

On the contrary - cryptocurrencies will eventually help us to get rid of governments. Blockchain can help us to get rid of intermediaries and the biggest intermediary we how nowadays is government. So this process takes time.

I do not think that they really understand what they are facing, most likely they just do not understand this and this is their big mistake, which will become fatal, so in the future they will try to get rid of crypto currency, but today it is not so simple.

Some governments are starting to embrace blockchain and cryptocurrencies and others are literally closing the doors to this technology. Do you think governments will continue to fight back against cryptocurrencies and decentralization?

There are several countries that prohibit those who do not, in my opinion it does depend on the attitude of the government itself. Are they ready to make the best use of this future technology or will it waste it. they must be able to see opportunities if they want to embrace crypto, don't just worry about the consequences.

I don't think they stand a chance. They cannot fully prohibit or control a decentralized network, and therefore cannot influence it. Even if large taxes are introduced for the use of cryptocurrencies or they are banned - anonymous cryptocurrencies will be in their place.

The government would be fighting a very uphill battle, you can't really ban cryptos, same as you can't control the internet. I think such a bold move to control the internet space would cause a major outrage, makes me think of how people went on streets when ACTA/SOPA was introduced, successfully discouraging politicians from implementing them.

So far, we have seen how governments are trying to resolve this issue, although in fact they are not doing anything good with their actions. It's only getting worse.

As I would see it, the state ought not preclude the digital currency. For the state there are a considerable measure of points of interest from the digital currency, they can enhance their economy, expel numerous issues in administration, can unravel the issue of defilement

I think is not easy to destroy crypto completely .Which governments do you think will make it hard? Most have announced to support the new technology ,the government just need more time to study crypto they're just afraid that crypto might lead us to money laundering.

I am sure that this will never happen, but I am also sure that governments of the countries, making attempts to seize the market of crypto and manage it, I do not doubt this.

I think the government will eventually accept and give in for cryptos because they cannot stop the technology. The main reason why they are against it is because they don't have control over it. All they try to do about crypto presently is to try to manipulate it by creating FUD.

Government can slow the movement of cryptocurrency.
Countries who dont want to accept crypto can't kill the currency they just can slow its development.
but aside from that nothing will happen, cryptocurrency is the future and they can't do anything about this.

Cryptocurrency is now accepted by many countries in the world because of its potential so that i don't feel any reason to kill cryptocurrencies by the governments.

Perhaps some governments want to kill cryptocurrencies, but they can't do it. At present, no government can do it. The cryptocurrency depends on the Internet.

I dont think so goverment will kill cryptocurrency, i have seen many govertment from many country supported this technology. Take alook Japan that really supported this technology and i have seen many shop and merchant accepted crypto for payment in some country.  In my country also crypto been regulated but crypto will included in commodities asset that allow only for tradeable but prohibited to use for payment.

Over time, the benefits of decentralization will become more obvious, the government will figure out how to regulate this sphere, and fraud will decrease, so I think most developed countries will eventually accept the technology.

I hope that soon governments of different countries will accept crypto currencies and create regulation of the crypto sphere. And this will be a very positive moment for the whole market.

It will turn out to be a reality, do not doubt. I believe that most of the governments are not interested in the blockade of the cryptocurrency. The taxes for the crypto can appear but I will bear it.

I don't think the government has this strength. At present, human technology cannot crack cryptocurrency. So no government can eliminate the existence of cryptocurrency.
