i hate to start to start this with the word "Unfortunately" But yes we are still in the bear trend if you look at it on a holistic way. Indeed. Bitcoin has dropped quite a lot and a few hundred dollars up isn't any reason to think that there will be a reversal. Not yet at least. I think there's a lot of manipulation happening and we'll probably have this slow movement whether up or down until the last quarter, when i think the real reversal will happen.

The bear season would've been over at the end of June but when the news came out that some of the cryptic wallets in the market are not safe people stated to retract money from the cryptocurrency market and this depreciation in the market cap led to another bear market situation

I don't think bear season is over yet.What we are seeing now is deadcat bounce from 6000$ range.I think more blood bath is coming for altcoin.
Media is very negative about cryptocurrency now, specifically to say about bitcoin.And honestly to say no one knows when will the bull season come again.
Bitcoin has  a major support at 5800-6000$ zone if it breaks that price then we will see more blood.
