I just wanted to say hello in the beginner section first .  I would like to start an introductional thread about our platform but I am not sure where to place it and if it is even ok to do so or if it would be considered advertising. This is the best place for you for the time being... Since you are new I would suggest to read the top 6 stickies from meta board.

Helping threads are always welcomed but there's always a possibility that some user has thought and made the same thing so If you're not gonna provide more depth and will just be creating the exact same thing as the previous ones, then better drop the idea.
