I've put most of my funds on cold storage. This means long term holding.
I don't know what is going to happen with the halving so to avoid being impulsive I decided to freeze my funds. I don't know if it is the good choice but this is it.
Of course I have some funds in my hot wallet but most of them are safely offline.

It's a thing we all have to deal with. Cloud mining scams, and yes selling to early. The thing is we are using bitcoin wrong (as an stock) and not as a currency which makes us do these errors. |

Wait and sell when price increases it could be within few months. |

I guess it's a good measure, in a couple of years things are clearer about the future of this. |

I guess it's a good measure, in a couple of years things are clearer about the future of this. If the bitcoin developers develop the bitcoin according to the market needs, the price of bitcoin will be higher. |

I believe the bitcoin price will grow a lot in the next few decades. It is better to hold. Holding is the only thing that makes sense now. Just think about selling now and the price going to 2k in a couple of years. With the halving in place I am confident the max we can go down is around 150 dollar to 500. So why take the risk to sell now and buy back later? |

Because last time the halving effect on price took some months before happening.
So better wait some months
