Among millennials, the cryptocurrencies investment trend is gaining momentum for retirement purposes. Moreover, as tech-savvy millennials are shunning traditional banking methods, innovative startups are creating new retirement solutions powered by blockchain and artificial intelligence technologies.

I am thinking about the impact of the news and its operational impact. I think a good number of demand will be generated with this news.

Could you please share your views with some reliable logic?
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Interesting, I never thought of millennials as being that stupid. Maybe that’s why most of them live at home with their parents until they’re in their 30’s.

Bitcoin is the most stable and secure coin and even it is too new and volatile to be used as a retirement vehicle. Other cryptocurrencies might not even survive to the end of this decade much less to the retirement age for millennials. Scary to think we might have an entire generation of people that have no retirement and will need to milk the government teat to survive.

Yes like me. I really need to save bitcoins because I like when I get old and I had a family I help my children and all my loved ones. So I really want to strive and buy more bitcoins. Because I know in the future I can use it

Well there is talk that bitcoin could reach a value of $250,000 in the future
so some oeople could be banking of gambling on that value being reached.

"Saving" FIAT in bank is counter productive, it will actually devalue over
time because of inflation and depending on the type of account there
would be negligible interest generated on the funds.

Starting a "pension scheme" has had some bad press recently in my
country, commission and fees are paid first, so for the first few years
The installments are not towards the oension itself.

Another thing to consider is maybe millenials dont have enough
disposable income to make a worthwhile pension investment but
enough to gamble on cryptos future....

I think @QuestionAuthority is right. Bitcoin is not a thing that can be used as retirement tool. You can earn a lot by investing in botcoin but it is not at that position that can make your future secured. It is still in volatile situation. Sp I think it is better to take decision with more calculation.

We all know that, and most bitcoin users are just teenagers (except those who really care about the ecosystem)

But yes, we all know how this works and how it is being done at the moment..

Maybe they realize that in the future all things will be digital and it is not impossible cryptocurrency will dominate the economic system so that the current generation prefer to use their money to invest in order to prepare for the future when the retirement time has arrived so that in time they will stay to enjoy the results of investment cryptocurrency done before.

I strongly believe that if its about buying crytocurrency for retirement purpose then i will advice buying bitcoins. I am not too surprise about the fact that millionaires are shunning the traditional banking sytem. The reason is simple, the returns from investing your money at the bank even for the entire working years cannot be compared to investing for some few years in cryptocurrency if speculated well.

There will be a lot of family pressure and financial burden on the millennial generation. Many of my friends will invest in real estate, stocks and encrypted currencies. Of course I don't think investing bitcoin is the only option to retire ahead of time, but many successful stories do find the most popular way for millennial investment. The story that I want to encrypt will not end so quickly.

Since Bitcoin has become mainstream, i'm not surprising those teenager teaching by their rich parent to invest on this.
But i would be agree if even though crypto was still being new, but there are still many chances for replacement technology that more better than this.

investing in bitcoin alongside the rest of your investments is a good thing and you can do that for the retirement not solely choosing bitcoin and definitely not altcoins. @QuestionAuthority is right, it is dumb to choose a new volatile thing for your retirement.
but i have a feeling that they are not choosing only bitcoin for that purpose, it is more like having bitcoin in their portfolio.

Its good to know that millenials are now already thinking for their future. At least at a very young age they already know the importance of investing. Its good that millenials save their earning or profit they get thru btc investment or trading for their retirement.

As of now, I don't think that cryptocurrencies is a good investment for retirement. The market is not yet stable and there are still lots of issues to address. Even though it has good potential in the future, I'm investing on it because of the volatility wherein if you know how to trade properly, you can gain profit. Maybe I'll consider investing on it for my retirement if the issues regarding it will be resolve and if there will be strict regulations about investing on it.
