How to use command line wallet in windows guide

Sorry for my english


First of all, you must download xivrad in some folder on you PC.

After that -> make a xivrad.conf file in directory C:\Users\folder with name of your windows account\AppData\Roaming\Xivra

It must be *.conf file - not *.conf.txt !!!

Hidden files and folders must be allowed in your windows settings!


In this file write :

rpcuser=any name you like
rpcpassword=and password
rpcport=43519
addnode=176.9.1.6


windows+r
cmd

cd C:\path to your folder, where xivrad.exe is\xivrad.exe

if you see cursor from new string - that`s right. Keep it window running - It`s your daemon

And run another cmd with the same way (windows + r -> cmd)

and go to the same folder cd C:\path to your folder, where xivrad.exe is\

now you can use console commands

it looks like:


xivrad some command some parameter


for example:
        xivrad getinfo
        xivrad getbalance XHyZBqdEQ1VedTb5suoc67Gnr1XcfT3wVH


for wallet address type:

        xivrad getaccountaddress name of rpcuser from xivrad.conf






For full list of console commands use: xivrad help

For help with concrete command use: xivrad help command name (example: xivrad help getinfo)

I just did a virus scan on it myself. Came up clean with avast. Downloaded it, and it seems to be working just fine, although it hasn't synced yet.

QT works so far, too. Has taken the xivrad compiled Address and Blockchain, node is connected, all systems seem good to go

Yeah.. Seems we were lucky to start so early.

The target was 75s/block, after all. With only 20% in Diff. increase every 192 blocks, it was bound to take a while to reach that. It seems it go there by now.

No one with a Linux Client able to send me 1 Xiv ?

Can you do that?! It won´t let me enter "1" as manual payout. It seems to be all, or nothing.


btw. Has anyone else the same bug? When I look in the Dashboard or Pool Overview, my Hashrate is shown in Mh/s, though i only hash at 800kH. In the pool overview this changes to 0,8 kH and the reward calculation is wrong. Seems to be only a display bug though, rewards are what they should be.

Ok, so a friend of mine (he doesn't have a bitcointalk account, so i'm doing it for him) just created a new download for the xivra-qt wallet which includes a readme file. BE SURE TO READ THE README FILE. It contains information on how to create a config file for it in order to get it to sync properly.

CoinPN:
create a textfile called "xivra.conf"  in your roaming/xivra folder. Make sure it isn´t named "Xivra.conf.txt" after that If you don´t know where that is, look at descriptions in any other Coin thread.

In there you put:

listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcuser=**youruser**
rpcpassword=**yourpassword**
rpcport=43519
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
addnode=176.9.1.6

replace **youruser** and **yourpassword** with anything you like, can be short and easy like "abcd" and "1234"

the important thing is the "addnode" since this is the node the client will try to sync with. everything else is actually optional, but required if you ever plan to solo mine, so it doesn´t hurt to put it in there


oh and @cienki7 :
The Pool is fast and a payout requires 600 confirmations to go from unconfirmed to confirmed. So this will only take a while, don´t worry. I have been mining for a day now and still some of the payouts from 12 hours ago are trickling in.
