Personally im only hashing 500-600 and am trying to help out other newer pools with advertising to get more people mining it.
as far as an exchange goes
A buddy of mine contacted cryptsy and they want 4btc to add Xiv to it
and Coinex will be adding it once they get their systems all running normally
I guess its just a wait and see phase

Yeah so the best bet is to just wait for the littler exchanges to accept them probably after this first of the year

Howdy there - So Did you download the wallet and its all synced and ready to?

Generally once you have it up and running

You can get your address by turning on your Wallet-qt

and on top there is menu options

Overview Send Recieve Transactions Addresses

Your gonna want to click on the recieve
and you should see it says
LABEL                            |  Address

If you right on the one that says (no label) thats your generic address and the one it generated for you. If you want to add more than one address for different sources that link into your wallet
From this same page at the bottom it says New address and you can name it what you would like

But just right click and then select Copy Address

Hi there,

do you have any contact with xiv.coinworld.us team?

They wrote that they will shut down their pool in one day. I've mined some Xivras there, but all of coins are not confirmed yet. How can I withdraw them, if the site will be down?

I think something is wrong on their site - I mined those Xivras two days ago, and coins still have a status: 'Confirmations: 480 left'.

Contact form on their site doesn't work...

Edit:
XIVs were transferred into my wallet. End of story. Thanks coinworld.us team (MobGod). ;-)

Tomorrow Dec.27th a new client (version 0.8.6.2) will be released . This update is highly recommended although the new version is not mandatory.
With this update of the source and client I consider Xivra ready for an exchange. Of course a new website is in the making to make it more attractive for new and existing users.

Changes : New pnSeed added, Checkpoints and CheckpointData updated, dnsseed added, credits towards litecoin updated, splash screen updated, minor changes where client relates to bitcoin/litecoin. Chinese language files updated on request for Chinese promotion.

Releases : Windows QT and command line client, Linux QT client, Mac OS 10.5+ QT client.

Since there will be a promotion of Xivra in China there will be also a release of a separate Chinese client, identical as the normal client but an updated Chinese splash screen when client loads.
