I'm looking to buy any Xivra coins at the moment. If anyone wants to sell me any in high volume please PM me. I will trade btc for them.

This coin seems ok. I don't think it will be hugely successful as it's a clone, but I think it may do ok (ish). I mean, it seems more like a community project instead of a dev pre-mining or having a folding farm behind them looking to get rich quick. I like the name and the community so far Smiley. I like the 8 bil value also, I always thought around 8-10 bil seemed about right to me, it's much nicer to trade in wholes as opposed to fractions but too many billions make the transaction values ridiculous.

I would have a go at making a logo but I am horrific at art, lol. Anyone fancy having a bash?

Axio - I feel that I'm owe you an apology, I was perhaps a bit harsh in calling your launch a "calamity". Although it was umpteenth countdown adjustment, me posting 5 minutes after the final scheduled launch stating my dismay where as you did launch a couple of minutes wasn't appropriate.

You appear to have made a very noble attempt at launching a coin with no pre-mine and seemingly little mining from yourself. Good effort.

What is your long-term vision for Xivra? Do you have a team?

Damn heuristic searches ... I rechecked it.. got two false positives, looked into it, couldn´t find anything. Not every unknown Program is a Virus, you know?

Yes, I think that it is because heuristics or something like that. The same as cgminer gets recognized as a malware by some AVs.

I have signed up with http://xiv.cipherpool.com/ and created a worker with a name and password.  I downloaded cgminer 3.7.0 and created a bat file that has

cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://stratum.cipherpool.com:8839 -u workername -p 2112 password

the name and password are the same as the worker on http://xiv.cipherpool.com/.

I run the bat file and it says this and then closes.

Started cgminer 3.7.0
Probing for an alive pool
Pool 0 difficulty changed to 20
pool 0 JSON stratum auth failed: (null)

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Thanks
