Its funny how quick things  can quickly change, a few months ago we were getting news of crypto advertising being banned on these platforms

now today these guys want to step in the deeper waters   Would be surprised if twitter was next....

But should they proceed with launching this crypto, this has the potential to join the top 100 coins because the platform can take advantage of the number of users it has.

facebook have not changed quickly. the banning of adverts were about preventing their customers from seeing scam coins begging for investors using deceipt. they do not want to be seen as endorcing a scam.. facebook was avoiding lawsuits by preventing its users from being scammed by ICO's
however facebook does not ban discussion/groups talking about crypto.
its not banning crypto its banning scammy ICO's.

Just rumors,  something out of nothing. And such coin will be some hybrid/centralized/on fully governed blockchain if they really launch it. Not interesting.

I do not understand why such companies ICO. They have enough money for development. Just to have your own crypto coin and nothing more.

I have read the article and it says the "fortunately they will not launched an ICO". It would be non-sense if they will have an ICO because Facebook has already made a lot of money throughout the years of existence.

It would be a nice one. I'm expecting the coin to be airdropped. They don't need to do ICO as they already have enough money.

This will definitely be very interesting as we would expect Facebook to develop a proper coin. one would also expect with the many followers that Facebook has and also the fact that its a mega company  that this coin should prove to be very valuable, they have however said they will take their time in developing the coin for use on their platform , i suspect however that plans are tweeked/changed as the development process happens . what is clear though is that they have been working on this for a year now and recently the team working on this project was ramped up in fact David Marcus has particular responsibility for this project,suggesting that this is a very important and major project for them.

I still need more credible source so that I'll really believe the rumors about facebook joining cryptocurrency. If it is really true then I'm sure that i'll partake to ICO or to any presale will be hold by Facebook because i know it will be a hype coin of 2018.

maybe this is one of the reasons why facebook banned bitcoin advertisement because they are also planning to build their own crypto coin. but it says that they are still in the midst of studying how the blockchain works. Oh well, goodluck to Mark Zuckerberg! Hope he can do well.

it might make sense if facebook will make their own crypto currency cryptically prohibit advertising for other crypto currency ads on their platform

thank you for the information, this is very good news, I'm sure ICO facebook project will be a great success.

a few months ago I also heard that mark is very interested in the world of crypto, so mark wants to learn crypto.

and a few months ago Facebook has the plan to ban crypto ads, but I think, the means is not banning crypto ads, but only filtered out every crypto ads, so mark want to restrict, so can to minimize crypto deception.

although i wouldn't be surprised if i saw a facebook_coin out of them but to be fair the legit sources are saying Facebook is looking into blockchain technology and that doesn't necessarily mean creating a new coin. they didn't talk about their plans as far as i know so it may be anything!

A great article ,  I think is good idea because it make easy to people know much about Blockchain technologi and profound knowledge of blockchain, digital currencies, smart contracts, distributed ledgers, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and emerging technologies in the cryptocurrency space.

This move by facebook is a bit strange to me in the sense that facebook  recently announced plans to ban all cryptocurrency related advertisement. Is this a strategy?
Well in any case, they will be having one if the biggest crytocyrrencies in the world in case they develop their own crypto. They have the subscribers needed.

if this is true and put in reality would you think how much be the ico price of fb? expect lot of investors will flocking in this coin considering ut jas already market and so many companies uses facebook as source of advertisement.
