Hello,

This is a mandatory update for all DigitalCoin users. All wallet QT and daemon users must update before block 625,800. Please update ASAP.

Change log:
- Difficulty stepping further refined to 25% in either direction.
- Checkpoints updated.
- Further library improvements for even more stability. Libraries are now compiled separately and can be shared with SRC and ARG clients.
- Wallet and daemon no longer require any configuration to synchronize. Just download and run.
- Lowered amount of memory used by a running client.

Downloads:
GitHub Repo: https://github.com/baritus/digitalcoin
Windows Wallet: http://digitalcoin.co/download/DigitalCoin-V1.1-QT.zip
Mac App: http://digitalcoin.co/download/DigitalCoin-Mac-V1.1.zip

How to Update

Replace your current wallet files with the ones provided in the download. If you experience any errors, delete all the supporting files except for wallet.dat. You can find those in your Library/Application Support for Mac and User/AppData/digitalcoin for Windows.

Please do not release anything before you don't have wallets for all operating systems compiled, including Mac OS X

Thanks a lot for the update

You can compile the wallet for any OS you choose with the provided instructions.

Nice one with the difficulty adjustments, let's hope they stabilize the coin a bit more (the last update helped quite a bit).

Cheers baritus, great work as usual Smiley

QT says version v1.0.1.0, correct?

Yes, it is. 1.0.0.0 is the older version.

Ok, we're past the fork. Don't worry if you didn't upgrade in time:

If you didn't upgrade and have not ran your wallet in a while, you can still just update now before downloading anymore of the block-chain.

If you didn't upgrade and have downloaded the block-chain past the fork, you'll need to go to your roaming folder and delete the block-chain, then upgrade your client, and re-download the block-chain (your client will do this automatically).

With these methods, all coins generated before the fork will be safe. any coins sent to the right fork afterwards will also be safe.

Anyone having problems or concerns, feel free to drop them here, and i'll try my best to get back to you and solve them.

It's nearly the year that DGC will finally come in to its own Smiley

happy new year DGCers Grin

If you mined on the wrong chain, the coins are lost unfortunately. However, if you mined in a pool that did upgrade, when you sort your wallet out (see above your post) the coins will appear.
