well seeing how China is unsure of even the future of bitcoin, I doubt they are going to sink much money in an unproven, freefalling coin, do you? Why would they, when crypto is so precarious in their country right now.  I don't know about Japan. I do know their women are hot though! If that helps any. I know what I would do, but you are the master of your domain.

Some probably won't bother, I mined about 65% of the coins I got the days either side of the x2 day - indeed, the net hash rate fell significantly after 5 or 6 hours of X2 mining, so many gave-up early.

X5 might well be a different kettle of fish.
