Maybe the problem is, that they are buying the community. What is a strong community? People work on it for free. Sure, they buy and mine coins, but they don't get them for free. They use a scarse good to contribute. Their time, mining power, money etc. How strong is the community when I hand out 1000 xCoin for free and give them 2000 when they vote for Cryptsy?

so what are your thoughts on the premine? What was it, 230 billion or 230 million? Are those playing into the reason why it is freefalling. Who is dumping? People were pretty mad in the beginning about the massive premine, not me, I never said one negative thing about the premine. Just wondering if the reason the price is freefalling is because of it. Have any of the premine hit the market?

good question. i wonder when so many people mined so many coins which are being dumped now for pennies... you only make 3-4,000 a day with a decent setup!

ask the developers... they are being silent now... Or they just dumped too much at 900 and now dumping the rest to make rebuy and Pump n Dump - round 2. Of course, maybe under the new name, who knows... You can make easy money if you can recycle the coin and its initial development to point the attraction... !!! idea !!!... aha... hmmm...

We should just ignore the price right now. What matters right now is how EAC stands apart from the other currencies. How do we do that? I think the devs and community has already started on it which is making an impact outside the altcoin community. The more we do more charitable acts with the coin and how the coin can be used outside the community, the more we'll gain recognition and become more distinguished as a real "currency" in the real world. What sets apart the successful coins apart from the meme generated pump and dump coins is if there is a real use or purpose for it.

Can't we guys from this forum thread just work together?

We all wait till it hits 100. And then we will all BUY as much as possible!! You might be too late to buy at 100 and buy a little higher, but this way the price will skyrocket, it will get attention and other people who are not in this thread will follow, we will be the one who profit the most from it.

But I guess it's impossible to gather so many people from this thread.

Well, i learned one thing here. The community is OK and some people are really working hard in all directions to make this coin successful. Thumbs up for that. The problem seems to be the market. Nobody wants to trust in any new coin, no matter how hard some people work for it.

If people continue to work hard, maybe one day EAC will rise back up. But i also believe that this will be a very long and very hard way.

And my next problem seems to be my bloody WDC bag. Not looking good at the moment.

the coin will not die at all, it will just cast off the opportunistic types who were expecting a quick pump and dump, the technology is sound the community is undiminished and unbowed and the devs are still on the case.
from day 1 all the true EACers were talking long term goals not short term profit this has not changed in the last few days the only thing that changed is all the people who were hoping cryptsy meant quick money panicked and sold at crazy prices, I brought 3 BTC and my orders were small potatos compared to some....
