If someone feel something is not right or feel not comfortable about, it is not him who should be attacked, it is the other way round - the one who is in charge is the one who must clear up things..

+1 It's also the community that should help newbies with answers, instead of starting a shitstorm.

I wish I had amnesia about earthcoin for a month or 2 and then come remember again when everything is more settled down and resist the temptation to sell or do anything stupid.

regarding the article, when people search for "earthcoin " on google, it pops up on the 2nd page. So maybe that should be countered somehow with a dedicated article coutering the "SCAM" one. Also, for all the repeating questions, why not create a FAQ with headers so each of these repeating questions can be answered by posting the right link to the right FAQ? That would make some arguements a lot simpler.
That would be ideal and I like the idea. I am sure more newbies like me will be asking these questions again and again. And as a community we should be helping them to find the answers and not branding them as haters, if they ask some difficult questions. Give the answers and come clean, earn trust and thats how the community grows. I have no intention of spreading any FUD. There should be nothing to hide if everything is genuine right? Thanks These 3 words are very suggestive and will not help in getting answers. Besides that, you mention you are an investor, that should mean that you are doing research right? So may I ask what you have found so far regarding the premine topic? P.s. I am not trying to challenge you, I just like to learn where your questions come from as you have done some investigations and you are still bothered about it.

Isn't premine visible in blockchain anyway? So anyone could just check themselves if they are dumping it or not...

Why do people keep posting this old article today? Sure smells like a smear campaign. This has already been rehashed over and over.
Because I am a newbie who invested recently in EAC and I hate to ask this question as I already put some of my money into it. So in a way I am shooting my own foot by asking the right questions. But I need to know for sure, before I start campaigning for this coin and hence the question. I only raised some genuine questions and the EAC team can come back with the right answers to put the community at ease. Thanks Use the search function, everything you are asking has already been answered in this thread. Also you don't come across as just asking questions, more like making accusations and spreading FUD. It's not surprising that your account was only created yesterday. Your a newbie yet feel you c.an speak for the entire community? I mostly agree except that the search engine on this forum is straight up retarded. Theymos should put custom google in. Takes about 5 minutes. To the new guy: a respectful tone goes a long way when asking hard questions. I jumped the old guard for jumping newbies, but you cannot be new and 'superior' either. Lets all have some dignity, eh?

This is a forum thread. The developers and the people in charge aren't here 24/7. As a community, we've seen a rash of people trying to discredit earthcoin solely for the purpose of destroying it. The ones who "attack" these concerns are just tired individuals who are just frustrated by all of the smear campaigners. This happens literally every day in this thread. Some people in our community have grown naturally suspicious of new people whose first post is something negative about the coin, the team, and/or the community.

There should be nothing to hide if everything is genuine right?
This is the kind of rhetoric that sets off alarms when there are no developers here to be hiding anything.

I have lost the ability to know now if people are writing with the best of intentions and giving a good criticism or just being a troll. I am sorry for the incoming new people. It's not that we are hiding anything, it's just that we aren't and people keep stating we do. A lot of people keep bringing up the premine but if you go to the first page, they specifically state there is a 2% premine and that it will be used at their discretion for giveaways and things that will help the development of this coin.

This forum and most other alt-coin foras is a pain-in-the-youknowwhat - because of almost 'religious' followers, and this mean that you don't really dare speak up or ask about something which can be perceived negative - because you sure as hell will be attacked by the followers.. And that for sure will scare away potential newcomers..

I looked at the blockchain and I have to say it looks a bit weird to me (no expert though). This is the first transaction from the premine: http://earthchain.info/tx/9052e7b88e876de1843761803b364a263db251b62508b059097b73283cce7ba1#i0You can start clicking on the top "Redeemed at input" link and you start a seemingly endless journey. If at some point I look at the recipient address, it's always a wallet that just received the money and then immediately transfered it somewhere else, no other transactions. Any idea anyone?

And that for sure will scare away potential newcomers.. This guy is not just some random newbie asking questions. This is why he is a troll. 1 day old account Posts month old article from known troll that has strangley been posted 2 or 3 times already today Here are some random quote snippets from his posts today even after I told him his questions have already been answered in this thread. "so that we are are sure its not YOU GUYS who are dumping this coin" "this coin is another scam as mentioned in the post" "we don't want any scammers to take us for a ride" "pay attention to this message and come clean" "EAC team can come back with the right answers to put the community at ease" "Give the answers and come clean" "take the genuine investors for a tough ride, by dumping them at will" "There should be nothing to hide if everything is genuine right?" Does this sound like some newbie who is just curious and asking questions? No, it's a troll feigning to be a newbie to stir up shit.

Or maybe just people who aren't as naive as you. ok Dr PHIL - explain your reasoning.. Read my post above #6913. Nothing wrong with having an opinion or bringing up something that may not be considered positive, but this guy is clearly a troll. Every post he made was not asking questions it was making accusations and demanding the devs "come clean".

He is not a 'troll' and your DIY assessment is insulting to a newcomer..
