How It Works

•    You complete your order, including your shipping address, via a secure Coinbase payment page (none of this information is ever stored on our website)
•    We pay for your order, it ships to our U.S. address, then we complete the customs declaration and ship it to you - providing tracking info all the way

Ultimately, just like any other company which provides a service in exchange for payment (Bitcoin OR fiat), the only way to really establish trust is to actually begin accepting payments and providing our service. This is why we're offering the opening promotion above. We're in it for the long haul, so we want to leave our customers happy so you'll come back for more and tell all your friends. Since we are physically located in the U.S. we are able to provide a service which, to our knowledge, no one else currently offers: shipping items from the many U.S. retailers which require a U.S. shipping address (and/or U.S. credit card) AND accepting payment for these items in Bitcoin.

By the way, we are totally working on this. Of course, Bitcoin buyers love their anonymity, not to mention that the process of purchasing U.S.-only items, waiting for them to ship to our U.S. address, then waiting for them to ship overseas can take a week or two. But, all in due time

The handling ($10) is approximately what it actually costs us to order your product, ship it, etc. Lastly the 5% tip ($10.90) is our actual profit on the whole order. $10.90 is not really a ton of profit in USD, just enough to make it worthwhile really, but a big part of the reason we're doing this is just to further the cause of Bitcoin to transform international commerce (because screw the fiat protectionist bankster system ). Shipping to and from EU is just....ridiculously expensive, I've had to cancel some "sell item x for Bitcoin" plans because of that (50$ for a box under 2 kg to US, takes at least 2 weeks to arrive, seriously?)

Your profit margin is indeed fairly low, and it wasn't my intention to criticize it

The only other cost to factor in, for me, would be import fees, which can run up to another 35 euro or more, so it wouldn't be worth it, if you factor everything in....

As I said, I'll think about it I just posted the details to give people an idea of what to expect
