140 KH\s on 6870. With 11 intensity set, it allows me to play some games and browse internet without lags while mining.

I've got 2 gigabyte 7950 inside my case, was once my gaming machine, but coins are more fun.  Got 3 fan moving air around the case to keep it cool ish.  Getting about 1.2mh/s.

But also got a mining rig in another room twice as powerful

Up to 240 KH/s, CPU QRK.

Around 14 KH/s CPU scrypt

Yep, I know, different algorithms. I was surprised it was that different, but so it goes. Might be a difference in the way the pools work too?

My wife's computer is newer, bigger, faster and she can CPU mine at about 4x my rates.

This weekend, trying to set up GPU scrypt mining on and old laptop, just as a prototype to learn how it's done, before spending money on a GPU scrypt rig.

Although AMD is the GPU of choice, if you use the brand new cudaminer released this past week your NVIDIA cards will reach much higher than before, also don't mine on laptops or using your CPU unless you just want to keep it low and slow otherwise you'll burn out before it becomes even remotely worth it.

At this moment I'm mining with my GTX 770. CudaMiner first mined with ~200 kh's.
Now with the latest update the hashrate has increased to ~340 kh's.

So that's a pretty massive improvement ^^

What's your cudaminer configuration? Even with the latest cudaminer, I'm getting ~150kh/s. If I use the K16x16, I get that. If I try 16x21, I can get 320 kh/s, but I get the error does not validate on CPU...
