Pleased to hear this excellent news Florida tax collector have accepted bitcoin cash for paying taxes including other government fees that means all these refer to how the US government supports bitcoin and cryptocurrency to expand its working area. The US authority has made an example to others country for opening their eyes for the cryptocurrency.

I'm surprised it is florida that is leading the way rather than san fransisco. It's not like they will be claiming much from disney world, but all thise people in silicon valley are likely to be crypto payers

Although they accept bitcoin payments, I think they probably don't think of bitcoin as money, but as property. In some cases, taxes can be enforced through property, if taxpayers cannot provide legal property, tax officials have to accept some "valuable" means of payment. And this is not a common phenomenon, so I don’t think this case can be considered that tax officials recognize bitcoin, unless this is a common phenomenon.

Great news indeed and I think the BTC ecosystem is waiting for such of these great news and integration in the ecosystem. Many industries are integrating the blochcchain and accepting its payments in their systems and I think its the best thing.

I think now BTC has been seen as a form of currency much better than the fiat currency in terms of security and also how fast its transactions are and are combining with the services they are providing. That's a good news to hear.

it looks like it's not needed, there are no additional fees or taxes when you save the bitcoin bitcoin that you have, whereas for payments like bitpay that accepts cryptocurrency payments it might just be a service fee that they provide to help your transaction.

That is a good step in the right direction for cryptocurrency to be accepted for payment of tax shows that the world is gradually getting to embrace digital currency which will allow for smart and secured payment process, bitpay is a well known exchange which will guarantee safety in the whole process.

Quite outstanding work for them considering the fact that cryptocurrency are a new tech and they managed to integrate it to an old system. Thumbs up for understanding that people also have an option to pay taxes in any way they want i.e., crypto. I hope other countries including mine follow suit.
The new breakthrough applied by Florida tax services may be followed by other regions, using bitcoin to pay taxes. Because this application indirectly recognizes bitcoin as a digital currency that is suitable for use by the state.
