Coin-pool back-up front end is at http://fedora2.coin-pool.org

OSX WALLET BOUNTY 500K

Are you the owner of this pool?

I have lost almost 500K TIPS in that pool. Something went wrong with the pool and all my unconfirmed TIPS vanished and I am left with only 85K TIPS.

Whats going on?

Please look into this issue.
No sorry, I'm just the OP of this thread. Come on the IRC  and ask for speed, he's the owner.

Ok so last week I had the idea to make fedora coin. I was on reddit during the doge tip frenzy, and I saw a bunch of guys sarcastically tipping fedoras.

So before I went to start anything, I registered these domains:

fedoracoin.com
fedoratips.com
fedoratip.com
fedorawallet.com

Whoever buys these domains can effectively control the online wallet (banking) market.

I am not sure what to ask for, but send your offers via PM and we can further negotiate.

I have done a few trades with rubberduckie (on doges.org as dogehound) and I will request his services for escrow. You also get a fabulous retail account where the domains will be pushed to you immediately.
We only need fedoraco.in, sorry man.

Once again about http://fedoracoin.nenado.org/index.php

"Sorry guys, the pool was rebuilt after a very heavy load. All payments are made. All accounts and worker is restored. To log in you must to recover password: http://fedoracoin.nenado.org/index.php?page=password We need to close the pool, so we lost a lot of users and pool's power is not enough for normal mining of TIPS. It will be closed until the pool has unfinished transaction. Registration is now closed."

Did anybody could login? I am trying to reset password but no mail send..

for me also, no login possible, noe mail to reset accout

So we got pools down, pools that constantly lose connection, pools with missing coins and pools only paying out 20% of correct rewards...yet difficulty is now over 30. WTF is going on?

You'd have to be crazy to be pool mining this so must be some serious solo mining going on.

notnull.org has not gone down, is fast, low fee, no stealing, no bullshit. I don't have time to spend developing scams and other crooked bullshit, my moral compass prevents it regardless. There is room on this server for more folks to mine.

It is pretty pathetic how this coin was released though, I admit that. I had to solve 2 blocks solo in my own pool just to figure out a good confirmation count level, as well as the 5x crap. The only reason I have this node up is because I was planing on that stupid CAT coin, but that developer had to do his mom's laundry or something, so I got distracted prepping MPOS for it and discovered this one (TIPS).

Lastly, If I see server load crack 1.0 I'm stopping invites, pretty simple. no reason to overload my node for a coin that is brand new with a fresh difficulty of 'retarded' already.

If the devs don't want it someone else can control the market.

If you didn't know this, everyone types in .com

wait a minute, so if i mined coins during the old wallet and say mined 10k on those pools those 10k are suppose to be worth 50k now?

Junk pool:  fedora.coin-pool.org

No PPLNS shares shown (just now), nothing confirmed in a while (I know 100 confirms), balance decreasing...

Why is every pool for this coin absolute shit?

https://tips.bettercoin.org has been great. I started there as the 2nd person in the pool, now at 82. Everythings been fine an dandy.

+1    tips.bettercoin.org

Thank you and getting lucky the last hour!

Guys... if someone could contact a moderator for me... I really want to be more involved w/ bitcointalk... I was whitelisted a while back, but almost every time I try to post something here I get an error message that says "last post from your IP was less than 71 seconds ago, please try again later"  Same issue when I try to PM moderators.

Took 10 attempts to post this image /frustration.

VIRUS IN fedoracoin-qt.exe!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I have a very bad feeling about this coin and the QT wallet I downloaded.

Most people's posts here are just about problems, problems, problems.

There are problems with the pools, wallets, mining, everything.

The only people who are posting here are actually people with less than 28 activity points. There's such few people with icons and people above 20 activity that it's frightening. It leads me to believe people with more experience would avoid such a coin and that people with little experience will go for it.

I feel differently however, maybe there's a trojan that will steal everything. Yeah I regret downloading this wallet. It's probably a RAT (Remote Access Trojan) with its extra Fedoracoin.exe that comes in the zip file. The QT is the wallet to run, but there's another extra random file I don't even know about. Combine that with the "This file requires administrative privileges to run" and you got yourself a trojan wallet possibly. Correct me if I'm wrong and I hope I'm wrong.

And what pool is it ? I also mined on a p2pool for 6 hours and miss multiple millions TIPS. Is there a magical way to determine in advance that the pool you're gonna mine on is not bugged/a scam ?
Because they all use the same templates so you cannot even judge by their appearance.

Edit : seems you are the operator of the pool I'm speaking of. I mined from ~9:30 AM UTC to 15:30 AM UTC on your pool with 9MH/s and got ~800k TIPS. diff was between 10 and 20, so I should have get at least 4 to 5 millions. What happened ?

Edit 2 : I still appear in your page in the "payouts if a block were found now" section. Am I getting paid even 4 hours after stopping ? I don't get it.

Edit 3 : I'm still receiving payment from what seems to be your pool, 600k more. So I really don't get it.
