tips.bettercoin.org has a major problem right now.
Currently total hashrate of the TIPS network is ~500MH/s. But because of the difficulty bug, the virtual hashrate is in fact 2550MH/s, so there's a block found every 5.2 mn instead of 1mn.
That we already know.
tips.bettercoin.org is supposed to have ~80MH/s, or ~16% of the network hashrate, leading to an average of 1 block every 31 to 32mn. This is what their stats is showing.
Now look at the nicknames here
https://tips.bettercoin.org/index.php?page=statistics&action=poolA certain Vovan0512 is hashing at ~9.6MH/s.
He's supposed to have 9.6/2550*1440*2500000 = 13.5 millions TIPS per day on average. That's with 0 orphan/stale, so multiply it by 0.85 and you have ~11.5millions per day.
But it's written ~5.5 millions.
So by searching why it's the case, I just searched the payment distribution for each block here :
https://tips.bettercoin.org/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocksAnd what can you see on multiple blocks ?
A certain anonymous is getting nearly 50% of the payment, while not appearing anywhere. He has 7* more share than Vovan0512, so he must be hasing at ~70 MH/s no ? But isn't the pool's hash at ~80MH/s. Why does he not appear anywhere ?
In the case that "he just leaved", this still does not explain why Vovan0512 is only having half what he should.
Either it's a major bug and a random lucky anonymous guy is getting half the TIPS, or this anonymous guy simply does not appear and is not counted in any stats for whatever reason, or this pool was hacked and someone is stealing everybody else.
I think you are worrying to much about what the pool stats show, if you mine for a while how many coin do you get? I've been mining there for days and I am gettin all the coin I feel I should be. Pool owners have said before you can't always trust the stats on the site front end as its based on some numbers they throw in there and stuff gets messed up. All I know is, if you are getting regular payments, and it appears you are gettin the pay out that several other pools show as "estimates" then all is well.
