I'm guessing it's normal to be a millionaire after just an hour or so?

Oh well, at least the novelty of owning a million coins is nice. Other than that I don't know why I'm mining this. It's the epitome of pump and dump.

ok, i'm beginning to wonder if this is a trick coin, just got home to find no mined blocks

What are you mining with?  I threw 64 CPU cores at it and it was spitting out blocks like a lego hooker.

3x i5

bought a few million, then realized how many are already in existence, so i'll just halt for now.

i had hard time synching too but after i places the latest nodes at that time it started to synch in 5 minutes. here is my config

rpcuser=
rpcpassword=
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=11930
port=11931
daemon=1
server=1
gen=0
addnode=41.78.77.178
addnode=108.53.178.39
addnode=115.28.16.229
addnode=109.65.166.87
addnode=99.99.203.102
addnode=86.184.213.156
addnode=115.28.16.229
addnode=115.28.11.226
addnode=125.16.73.46
addnode=dime.mine-pool.net
addnode=37.146.68.215
addnode=23.88.164.18
addnode=24.131.171.33
addnode=77.47.170.101

make sure you close the walled client first.
 then open the roaming/dimecoin folder.
 in there make new text file. paste that ^ info.
choose the username and pass,
then save it as dimecoin.conf,
then re-open the client and wait few minutes.
see if that helps

what i personally do is i save it once as a "dimecoinconf.txt" then i save as a proper "dimecoin.conf". i like to also have a txt of my config to see or edit it faster.

8% premine  Cheesy. It´s already dead.

It's quite hilarious how worthless this coin is. You'd be lucky to get 0.0001 btc for a billion dmc

you may need to get a version of minerd that supports quark

Ah, I should spotted that. Yeah, it got removed a few released ago. I think someone re-wrote the original version before it was removed for different windows builds, but minerd64_sse4 has always worked best for me. Wasn't easy to find though.

Ok something isn't making any sense with this wallet.  I set up the miner to solo mine last night.  The first block found was successful and I received my coins.  71680.00 DIME now here is the odd part.  since i'm solo mining the transaction should be coming from my wallet address but instead it said it came from here.  78M6qwuvGoNDcYA44jNWrSYp7TrBEa7zkc when my address in my wallet is this 7NpJXgPJ4Zbrp6nhayaTrB7pvPvKRmdog2.  Now I have also found 3 or 4 other blocks in the first hour that i let it run, but they all went somewhere else, not to me.  I finally caught a screenshot of the miner, wallet and notification all in one spot.

Here is the screenshot.  And as you can see the wallet was up todate as well.

You shouldn't need to change anything within the data directory, re download the wallet and try running it. Your wallet.dat file will remain intact.

Runaway exception.
A Fatal error occurred. Dimecoin can no longer continue safely and will quit.

EXCEPTION: N5boost10filesystem16filesystem_errorE
boost:filesystem::remove: The directory is not empty: "Deleted address bit here".

Some help here would be awesome.

Just leave it be and mine a proper coin? Plenty of quark clones to hose from, why do you need to stick to a premined non functional clone?

Backup your wallet.dat file from %appdata%/dimecoin and then delete everything in that folder, re download the wallet and run it once then close it. Move your backup wallet.dat into %appdata%/dimecoin and open dimecoin-qt.
