Any comments about logo and coin design? You say that the logo can be voted on https://www.facebook.com/dimecoin but i don't see much options. The one i created is not even there to vote for.  

Actually i'm sitting since some hours on further things to design the web site. But i don't like to waste all my time at christmas if that's not wanted at all.

When you are done with the changes inside dimecoin.conf, close and start the wallet. Then just let it run. That worked for me.

Please help me understand: when I run minerd_sse4 with the quark parameter, I get an accepted share every 5-10 minutes. When I run it with the scrypt parameter, there are massive amounts of accepted shares every few seconds.

What is the difference? I am currently mining at npool.org.

You shouldn't be sending any valid shares via Scrypt, as it's a Quark-based coin. You should be getting a lot of "Boo!!!" instead of "Yay!!!" if you try to use Scrypt.
