Don't you see that this coin is already dead? A nearly 900.000.000 sell wall at 0.00000001 btc (it can't get cheaper) right at the beginning and not even 1 who is willed to buy 1 dime. This is a big day for Dimecoin! Yes, great day, but for who?

I have downloaded the Dime Wallet QT but I am unable to sync my wallet. I believe the error is being unable to find a block source?
How do I rectify this?

Pools #1, 4 and 5 are not working, other pools make very rare payouts. Isn't it DDOS, by any chance?

This coin died when devs placed the wall for 1000000000 DIME - 10 BTC on coinedup.com.

Could someone help me,please? I sent amount of Dimecoins with Dimecoin QT and they disappeared from my wallet and the transaction didnt happen at all. I have sent smaller amounts of Dimecoins before with no problem but now with this bigger amount I got an error. I get this error when I start the Dimecoin QT wallet: warning: error reading wallet.dat! All keys read correctly, but transaction data or address book entries might be missing or incorrect
Did you check the DIME block explorer to see if the transaction happened or not? Do you have older backups of your wallet.dat? Try using them if you have (but make a backup of the current wallet.dat first).

Hmm! The block explorer shows that I have the Dimes still left in the wallet but I can't see them in the actual QT! It gives the error: warning: error reading wallet.dat! All keys read correctly, but transaction data or address book entries might be missing or incorrect when I launch it.
The wallet contains all your private keys, as long as they are there then you didn't lose any coins. Since the error message says all keys are read correctly then the coins are still safe. You need to extract the private keys from the current wallet and then import them back into a fresh new wallet. It gets a little bit complicated to explain it here. But as long as your private keys are not lost the coins are still safe. You can extract the keys manually, or you can use a tool called pywallet to help you. Here are some instructions that may help you, but you need a bit of technical knowledge to do this: http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/9127/dumping-private-keys-from-wallet-dat-from-command-line-pywallet-py-alternatives
