Linux users - check this out, my ~20 minute config to get these running on my BAMT Linux-LTC rig (BAMT is a mining linux distro, there is a older BTC version, and an updated LTC version that I still use that has all the ATI drivers installed).

Will these work with a Raspberry Pi running MinePeon?

I have regular erupters on d-link hubs working on it now, would these just plug in and work? or would I need to download updates or change settings?

Sounds a lot like my setup, i have been able to get the new cgminer to compile on it, and i get all the options, i just dont have the device yet to fully test, which i should have in a few days.

Is anyone having any luck running these on a D Link 7 port USB hub?

Assuming you're talking about this:

http://smile.amazon.com/D-Link-Hi-Speed-7-Port-Powered-DUB-H7/dp/B00008VFAF

I have one, and looking at the specs, I'm thinking no. Certainly not 7 of them. The page says "It is recommended that the combined power consumption on all ports should not exceed 2A or 10W."

Ok I definitely want to purchase 14 of these, just working out the signing message bit and too tired at the moment to figure it out.  I'm sure it is extremely simple, just too tired.  Please put me down for 14, and I will send BTC and messages and such in the morning.

Thanks and hopefully don't laugh too hard at my inability to do something that should take 15 seconds Smiley

Short answer: NO

Longer answer: It *MAY* be possible in the future but it is not possible now.  Nor is is possible to run a mixture of AntMiner and Erupters in the same machine.

I have not had a fun time with DUB-H7 and USB miners. Not recommended.

you can mix ants with furies.  I got 15 ants and 5 furies on 1 machine. they have been running for about 10 hours.

I've gotten a few questions about powered hubs, you can go large with the 49 port one from SSB or Canary

A nice 9 port one is available from Amazon here is the short link http://amzn.to/1eqwRDM

Yeah.  I am thinking that if I have to run two machines I'll pick up another pi and leave the erupters on one and put everything else on another.

But, more likely I'll ebay the erupters and pick up a few more U1's Wink

I can confirm that I received my order in 2 days, and the miners are all working properly. Highly recommended seller.
